Our 2024 event report is live now on our website featuring reflections from exhibiting designers, volunteers, visitors and the design community. 2024 was our biggest festival yet -10,701 visitors experienced the work of 208 designers and makers working across furniture, interiors, jewellery, homewares, craft, graphics, textiles, apparel and more ❤️

📣What's next for Dundee Design Festival?

Over the last couple of months we've been working on developing plans and funding applications for the 6th edition of Scotland's national celebration of design, with the intention of returning to Dundee in September 2027.

⭐After the success of our 2024 festival we are excited about the possibilities for 2027 but realistic about the challenges we need to overcome to get us there.

Scot Gov x Local Heroes 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Dundee Design Festival’s 2024 Creative Director Dr Stacey Hunter has curated WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT? by Timorous Beasties as part of 3daysofdesign, Copenhagen.

This installation features some of Timorous Beasties’ iconic patterns showing their idiosyncratic and irreverent take on design for interiors 🏠

Mistry Designs & NoRulesWallpaper joined Timorous Beasties last night for an evening of short talks and Scottish bites, introducing A Taste of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
