SPOT Roots 2026 🤠
For andet år i træk blev SPOT Roots præsenteret som en del af SPOT Festival – og vi er både stolte og taknemmelige over den opbakning, initiativet har mødt fra artister, branche og publikum.
SPOT Roots blev skabt i samarbejde mellem SPOT Festival og TEMPI for at give folk-, roots- og countrymusikken nye publikummer, mere synlighed og øgede netværksmuligheder. I år voksede programmet med flere artister, flere møder og endnu flere muligheder for nye forbindelser på tværs af den nordiske og internationale musikbranche.
Tak til alle de fantastiske artister og bands, som bragte musikken til live på scenerne. Tak for musik, dans - og kaffepunch. Tak til nationale som internationale delegerede, branchefolk og samarbejdspartnere for nysgerrigheden, samtalerne og engagementet. Tak til publikum for at lytte, opleve, danse og støtte op om musikken. Og ikke mindst tak til Kulturministeriet for, med økonomisk støtte, at gøre projektet muligt.
SPOT Roots handler om at skabe plads til stærke kunstneriske fællesskaber og nye muligheder for genrer, der fortjener endnu større synlighed, og årets udgave bekræftede os i, hvor vigtigt det arbejde er.

SPOT Roots 2026 🤠
For the second year in a row, SPOT Roots was presented as part of the SPOT Festival – and we are both proud and grateful for the support the initiative has received from artists, industry professionals, and audiences alike.
SPOT Roots was created through a collaboration between SPOT Festival and TEMPI to bring folk, roots, and country music to new audiences, increase visibility, and strengthen networking opportunities. This year, the program expanded with more artists, more meetings, and even more opportunities for new connections across the Nordic and international music industry.
Thank you to all the incredible artists and bands who brought the music to life on stage. Thank you for the music, the dancing – and the coffee punch. Thank you to national and international delegates, industry professionals, and partners for the curiosity, conversations, and engagement. Thank you to the audience for listening, experiencing, dancing, and supporting the music. And not least, thank you to the Danish Ministry of Culture for making the project possible through financial support.
SPOT Roots is about creating space for strong artistic communities and new opportunities for genres that deserve even greater visibility, and this year’s edition confirmed just how important that work is.
We are already looking forward to continuing the journey 🎻
