After an exciting final round of the Grand Prize Competition at the International Johannes Brahms Choir Festival and Competition 2025 in Wernigerode, the jury has made its decision:

Congratulations to Minimus Vocal Ensemble from Poland, conducted by Sławomira Raczyńska, on winning the Johannes Brahms Choir Prize 2025! 🎶🇵🇱

A heartfelt bravo as well to all category winners and participating choirs for their outstanding performances and musical excellence throughout the competition!

🎶 Looking forward to a festive finale in Wernigerode!

As the International Johannes Brahms Choir Festival draws to a close today, we invite all choirs, guests, and locals to join us for a joyful Common Singing event on the Wernigerode Market Square, starting at 18:00 (CET).

🌍 With colorful performances by the Nanjing Langlang Children’s Choir (China), Chor Hohe 4 e. V. (Germany), and the Sekolah Global Indo-Asia Children’s Choir (Indonesia), the marketplace will come alive with international voices and cheerful spirit.

🎤 Free admission – everyone is welcome to sing along!

🏆 At 19:00, we’ll reveal the competition results, announce the audience favorite, and crown this year’s Grand Prize Winner.

🪩 And after that? It’s time to celebrate! A choir party with a DJ will bring the evening to a spectacular close.

For the very first time, the beloved Benefit Concert of the Johannes Brahms Choir Festival will take place at the stunning Imperial Palace (Kaiserpfalz) in Goslar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Tonight at 18:30, enjoy the sounds of three exceptional children's and youth choirs from China, Indonesia, and Hong Kong SAR – and support local music at the same time: All proceeds will go to Goslarer Musikszene e.V.

Our festival has begun! 🌟

The 2025 Johannes Brahms Choir Festival is now officially open in Wernigerode and we couldn't be happier! Our Opening Day was a blast and we can't wait for more choral singing in Wernigerode today! 🎼🏰
