Liebe Leichtathletik-Fans,

leider müssen wir auch in diesem Jahr das Soundtrack-Meeting aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie absagen. Wie auch im vergangenen Jahr haben wir gehofft, wieder ein Leichtathletik-Event mit internationalen und nationalen Spitzenathleten auf die Beine zu stellen. Doch die Lage der Pandemie lässt das auch in diesem Jahr nicht zu. Deshalb haben wir uns entschieden, das große Meeting mit buntem Rahmenprogramm abzusagen. Doch wir hoffen, im kommenden Jahr wieder mit euch gemeinsam Leichtathletik auf Spitzenniveau in Tübingen zu erleben. Bleibt gesund und fit!



Dear athletics fans,

Unfortunately, we have to cancel the Soundtrack Meeting again this year due to the Corona-pandemic. Like last year, we had hoped to again plan an athletics event with top athletes, both international and national. However, the situation of the pandemic does not allow it this year. Therefore we have decided to cancel the big meeting. But we hope to experience top level athletics in Tübingen with you again next year. Stay healthy and fit!

Am 20.06. hätte eigentlich das Soundtrack-Meeting stattgefunden. Stattdessen haben einige LAV-Athleten sich am Freitag vereinsintern gemessen und dabei Spitzenleistungen erzielt. .baumann sprintete über 400m (52,53s) und 200m (23,37s) zu sensationellen Bestleistungen und in die deutsche Spitze. 💪

lief die 3000m in 8:41,59 Minuten - ebenfalls eine richtig starke Zeit! 🏃🏼‍♀️🌀

On June 20th the Soundtrack Meet would have taken place. Instead, on friday some LAV-athletes competed against each other and achieved fantastic results. .baumann ran the 400 meters in 52,53s and the 200 meters in 23,37s. With these times, she is among the fastest sprinters in Germany. 💪

THE BEST IS YET TO COME! Nachdem uns 2019 ein Unwetter einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht hat, müssen wir nun leider mitteilen, dass auch in diesem Jahr kein Soundtrack-Meeting stattfinden wird. Wegen der Corona-Pandemie können wir kein Leichtathletik-Meeting durchführen, das dem Soundtrack-Konzept gerecht werden würde. Denn dazu gehören spannende Wettkämpfe mit Topathleten und ein buntes musikalisches Rahmenprogramm für die Zuschauer. Die Planungen für das kommende Jahr haben aber schon begonnen und der genaue Termin wird noch bekannt gegeben. The best is yet to come!

After a thunderstorm in 2019 put a stop to our event, we unfortunately have to announce that there will be no soundtrack meeting this year either. Due to the Corona Pandemic, we cannot hold an athletics meeting that would do justice to the soundtrack concept. Because this includes exciting competitions with top athletes and a colorful musical program for the spectators. However, we have already started planning for next year and the exact date will be announced. The best is yet to come!

Official statement regarding the cancellation on Saturday and ticket reimbursement.

English translation:

“Dear sport and music fans, dear athletes,

the organizer, the Förderverein LAV Tübingen e.V., and the entire team of volunteers are deeply sorry for having to cancel the Soundtrack event. We are extremely disappointed that the weather let us down and that we had to interrupt all competitions due to the thunderstorm. After nearly 3 hours of interruption we had to announce the cancellation of the event due to the heavy rainfalls. The bad weather conditions caused a power failure and terribly flooded the sport facilities and the concert site. As a result, we received orders from the municipal office to stop the whole event.

We hope that you understand this decision to avoid any danger or farm for both our visitors and our athletes. It will take some time to figure out the costs and reimbursements. We will inform you about the procedure in the next days. In contrast to some media reports, it is not clear yet to what extend our costs will be covered by our insurance. However, it is clear that the cancellation of the whole event will be a huge burden for us.

A big thank you to our volunteers, athletes, visitors and the city of Tübingen for their support. We also wish to express our utmost gratitude to all our sponsors – without them an event like this would have never been possible in the first place.

For everyone with a ticket to the Soundtrack Meeting and/or the Bakermat concert: Bakermat decided on his own to do a concert at Top 10 Tübingen tonight.

We regret to inform you that due to bad weather and a fully flooded track the event has been cancelled. the 10k, the international meet, the concert.
