The festival takes place every summer on the festival ground of the famous Loreley in St. The Loreley Amphitheater is a UNESCO World Heritage and holds legendary ROCKPALAST shows in the 70s and 80s. On the hill of the River Rhine, it is located between Frankfurt and Cologne in Germany. Since 2006 the Night of the Prog Festival is happening at the legendary rock. The Musical Box performed twice on the Loreley (Night Of The Prog), now they are in Europe again, performing a special GENESIS Foxtrot / Nursery Cryme / Rarities show. Bremen, Mannheim, Bochum and the Scandinavian shows are presented by WiV Entertainment GmbH.

The Loreley Amphitheater is a UNESCO World Heritage and hosted some legendary ROCKPALAST shows in the 70s and 80s. On the hill over the River Rhine, it is located between Frankfurt and Cologne in Germany.
Since 2006, the Night of the Prog Festival is happening at the legendary rock. Featured bands and artists over the last years were: Dream Theater, Eloy, IQ, Riverside, Anathema, Fish, Steve Hackett, Marillion, Big Big Train, Yes, Lazuli, Opeth, Steven Wilson, Isildurs Bane, Mystery, The Sea Within, Jethro Tull, The Musical Box, Camel, Ange, Arena, RPWL, Spock’s Beard and many more.
The Amphitheater is a beautiful location with a magnificent view on the landscape. There is plenty of space on the site to relax and to listen to great music. You can come by car or choose one of the Camping options. Alternatively, we also offer a Hotel & Bus Shuttle service, which brings you to the festival in the morning and back to the hotel in the evening.
Tickets are available for one day, two days or all three days. For some headliners, we also offer evening tickets.
All main bands play more or less full sets, so you can expect a full show.
