At DATEV Challenge Roth, we believe that even the world's largest long-distance triathlon can keep getting better.

For 2026, we have introduced 20 improvements designed to enhance the experience for athletes, volunteers, spectators, partners, and the entire Roth community.

From a new mobility concept with free shuttle services and improved network coverage, to an expanded Expo, upgraded volunteer benefits, enhanced race operations, and a brand-new drone show to conclude race day.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, partners, local communities, authorities, and the entire triathlon family who help us make these improvements possible year after year.

Beim DATEV Challenge Roth sind wir überzeugt: Selbst der größte Langdistanz-Triathlon der Welt kann sich immer weiterentwickeln.

Für 2026 haben wir 20 Verbesserungen umgesetzt, die das Erlebnis für Athletinnen und Athleten, Volunteers, Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer, Partner sowie die gesamte Roth-Community noch besser machen.

Von einem neuen Mobilitätskonzept mit kostenlosem Shuttle-Service und verbesserter Netzabdeckung über eine erweiterte Expo, optimierte Volunteer-Vorteile und weiterentwickelte Abläufe im Rennen bis hin zu einer brandneuen Drohnenshow als emotionalem Abschluss des Renntages.

We will say goodbye to this finishline arch, which whitnessed 7 world best times, 15 beautiful summers and countless fulfilled dreams.

Great news for our camping fans!

We’re able to make 300 camping spots available at the swim start on short notice!

Camping is available from Thursday, July 2, through Monday, July 6, 2026. The camping area will be supervised around the clock by a support team from DJK Göggelsbuch on site.

They’ll assign you your spot and answer any questions you may have.

⛺️ Important: The additional spots are limited and will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis.

Wir können euch kurzfristig 300 Campingspots am Schwimmstart zur Verfügung stellen!

Von Donnerstag, 02.07. bis Montag, 06.07.2026 ist das Campen möglich. Die Campingarea wird rund um die Uhr von einem Betreuungsteam der DJK Göggelsbuch vor Ort betreut.

Sie weisen Dir Deinen Platz zu, beantworten Fragen.
