Sehsüchte is one of the largest international student film festivals in Europe. At the same time, Sehsüchte is an event made for a film loving audience.

Every year, Sehsüchte is the center of attention for filmmakers from all over the world. Our goal is not only to offer young, upcoming filmmakers a forum for their films, but also to stimulate exchange amongst them, as well as with film industry's top professionals. Sehsüchte offers many chances for intercultural exchange: Over a hundred films by young filmmakers, panel discussions and master clas

ses, a diverse supporting program consisting of professional workshops, parties and more and more. Sehsüchte gains its unique appeal from its intime atmosphere and the close contact between viewers and filmmakers. Sehsüchte is hosted by the Film University KONRAD WOLF in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Sehsüchte is the largest international student film festival in Europe. Yearly, it is organized by a young and dynamic team of students from the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF

In the 55th issue of Sehsüchte, we want to broaden our perspective under the motto What's left?: into the past, present, and future. What's left? poses the question of what remains – of our ideals, of our home, our hopes and fears, and of a world we wanted to believe in.
