Very often, cellists love to mix and match, and with so many possible combinations, choosing the right set of strings can make all the difference.

Today @ the ESTA international congress: Viva Violas! -concert displays Finnish viola education in all levels, and players from almost beginners to professionals. The orchestras are conducted by Vuokko Lahtinen and Johanna Paananen.

Ellen Herler is the amazing soloist in Paul Hindemith’s Trauermusik, and the Grandissimo viola orchestra combines everything by playing Nuoruustango (Youth tango), an arrangement by Teppo Alimattila for this special event.
