📸 Five intense days, countless encounters and so many inspiring conversations later: has come to an end, and what an edition it was!

With around 3,500 visits, hundreds of One-to-One Meetings, packed talks, pitch sessions and the launch of the new DCampus Exchange, this became the most visited edition of DOK.forum so far. ✨

From powerful documentary projects and inspiring keynote speeches to discussions about AI, authorship, film education and the future of film culture — this year’s programme showed once again how vibrant and necessary documentary storytelling remains today.

A huge thank you to all partners, experts, pitching teams, guests, supporters and everyone who helped shape this special atmosphere. 🧡

DCampus Exchange Munich in cooperation with .forum at München 2026 ✨

Two inspiring days at dedicated to the future of factual storytelling in the digital age.

From new funding models and digital-first production to AI, algorithms, Gen Z audiences and collaborations between filmmakers, broadcasters and brands — DCampus Exchange brought together creators, industry experts and innovators from across Europe to discuss where documentary storytelling is heading next.

A special highlight was welcoming legendary creative director Graham Fink () alongside many outstanding speakers and participants who helped make the event such a success.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared ideas, asked questions and contributed to the conversations — on stage and beyond.

Haunted by the devastation of the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, the director returns to her ancestral village in search of traces of coexistence. Together with Arshak, a hunter and photographer from her childhood, she assembles an archive of Barum, a lost village once shared by Armenians and Azeris.

The FIPADOC Award includes an invitation to the final selection of the International Pitch at FIPADOC, along with two professional accreditations for the team.

The DAE Talent Encouragement Award, presented by , offers a one-off 60-minute consultation with a DAE industry professional for a Marketplace project — supporting emerging filmmakers in navigating the international documentary landscape.

Among banana plantations and German flags, beer and mud, floods and myth, an ambivalent story takes shape — where past and present are in constant, restless dialogue.
