rell Geister Geschichten oder Horror Erzählungen, aber mit einem altertümlichen Klang, welcher sich an den in der zur Edo Zeit bekannten J*panischen Sagen orientiert.

Four more artists join the world of KAIDAN. From eerie original characters to intricate black-and-white ink illustrations. Each artist brings their own dark, horror-inspired touch to the convention. 👹

Hallo Zusammen!
Bei meiner Kunst dreht sich alles um das Thema Yokai. Egal ob gut bekannte wie Kappa, oder Tanuki, oder weniger gesehene wie Kodama Nezumi, alles ist bei mir vertreten. Ich bin oldschool und zeichne noch mit Stift auf Papier. Diese Illustrationen finden dann so ihren Weg auf T-shirts, Prints, Pins, Omamoris und bis ende Jahr hoffentlich auch in ein Art Book.

Unter dem Namen "Lotus Field" erschaffe ich Paintings in chinesischer Tinte inspiriert von japanischer Mythologie und Portraits aus vergangenen Tagen.
Fantastische Portraits, Florals, Landschaften und Yokais gehören hier zu meinen liebsten Motiven.
Meine komplette Produktpalette wird stetig ausgebaut und umfasst, neben Postkarten, Lesezeichen etc, auch zwei Hardcover Artbooks und vieles mehr.

Hallo, ich bin wicked.kabuki! Ich habe vor kurzem meine Liebe zu Manga entdeckt und zeichne seit ca. einem Jahr im Manga-Stil Horrorszenarien!

Makabres mit Augenzwinkern. Veitstanz verwendet Tusche, Aquarell und Graphic Tablet für das verträumte Düstere und bietet Zines, Prints, Sticker, Pins, Schlüsselanhänger und Auftragsarbeiten.

An meinem Stand findet man hauptsächlich Items zu den japanischen Subkulturen Menhera, Yamikawaii und Tenshi Kaiwai finden. Niedliche Mädchen mit physischen oder emotionalen Wunden sind dabei Hauptbestandteil der Motive. Manchmal mehr und manchmal weniger subtil gestaltet.

Mit schwebenden Geigenmelodien, akkordeongetriebenen Kompositionen und einer theatralischen Bühnenpräsenz erschafft Jade Forest Company eine Welt zwischen Traum und Legende.

Auch wenn die Band selbst erst 2020 gegründet wurde, sind ihre Mitglieder längst keine Unbekannten mehr. Seit vielen Jahren sind sie Teil der japanischen Visual Kei Underground- und Live-House-Szene und bringen Erfahrungen aus zahlreichen Projekten und Bands mit.

Zwischen Folk Metal, Fantasy und erzählerischer Inszenierung ist ein Klang entstanden, der unverwechselbar ihr eigener ist.

Und nun verlassen sie zum allerersten Mal J*pan.

With soaring violin melodies, accordion driven compositions and a theatrical stage presence, Jade Forest Company create a world suspended between dream and legend.

While the band itself was formed in 2020, its members are no newcomers. For many years, they have been active in J*pan’s visual kei underground and live house scene, bringing together decades of experience from a variety of projects and bands.

Blending folk metal with fantasy inspired storytelling, they have crafted a sound entirely their own.

And now, for the very first time, they are leaving J*pan.

First time at KAIDAN.
First time in Germany.

Käferbluts Arbeit ist ein unkonventioneller Liebesbrief an die natürliche Welt und allen fantastischen Geschichten die aus ihr erdacht würden. Aber auch die grenzenlose nerdigkeit und Liebe zur Popkultur werden aus einer schwarzmalerischen Perspektive dargestellt.
Die Werke entstehen meist auf Aquarellepapier mit Aquarelle, Gouache und Buntstiften.
