After the 2019 IR GT, the EURO 1:8 GT and GTE will now take place at MRC Leipzig e.V. in 2025. 😀

Auf Grund der aktuellen Lage hat die EFRA die 1/8 GT EM 2021 abgesagt.

As the summer season approaches we can now announce that unfortunately due to the impact of remaining COVID restrictions, another event in EFRA’s calendar is to be postponed until 2022. 21st of June was set to be the debut of the 1/8 GT IC TRACK European Championship at the legendary Lostallo facility. But despite an improving picture across Europe with the vaccination roll out, a conclusion has been reached that travel restrictions would still be imposed on too many attendees for the organisers to hold an EC.

Andi Frattaroli, President of Swiss RC Federation SRCCA had this to say:

“After discussion with the event organizer in Lostallo, Ernesto and his team, it is unfortunate but we can now announce that while travel restrictions are still preventing drivers to move freely, it makes sense to hold off the event until 2022 when we hope all of our competitors will be able to race safely once again together.”

Update 23th March 2020

At the current time, EFRA is cancelling all EFRA races on the calendar starting before the 1st of July. Those races will be moved to next year on the same venue when possible.
The EFRA GP series in IC section and Large Scale, will be cancelled entirely.
EFRA consider it prudent at this time to use a 3-month rolling program to determine which meetings can start.
