Berlin’s alternative improv comedy festival!

A week has gone by since another great Edinburgh International Improv Festival.

Local Berlin legends and past Das performers and both took to the stage. Over twenty members of the Berlin improv community were there to learn, watch amazing improv, and get to know the people of Edinburgh, who, as far as we could tell, are all huge fans of the French rugby team.

We can’t wait to repay the favour for any of our Scottish friends planning to make the trip for Das Improv Festival 2026 this September in Berlin.

We all saw it coming, but the end still broke our hearts. Das 2025 is officially over 💔
Massive thanks to the 56 (!) wonderful local and international teams that gave us 5 incredible days full of laughter, joy and community. We love you all, 186 improv nerds!!!
Before we say goodbye, we want to give you some final quotes from the last day to remember us by:

Annndddd we’re halfway done already 😢! Day 3 was fabulous, exciting, at times almost scary. And since we liked doing this so much, here are some of the quotes we will keep in our Das Hall of Fame:

Woah! DAY 2 - what can we say? 18 incredible teams brought so much energy on stage. We saw love, spice, questionable parental dynamics, etymological deep-dives of the word “obtuse”… Here are just some of the incredible quotes that will forever stay stuck in our collective head:

Attention, everyone: Das 2025 has officially kicked off! 💜💛
Day 1 brought us some delightful performances by , , Capiche, Alliances, Tambourine Solo!, HUMAN NIGHTMARE, and Panic Snooze, as well as an incredibly fun Jam with more than 60 participants!
While performers from all over the world are still reaching Berlin, we are getting ready for Day 2, which will see 18 different teams (including our first headliners) perform - get tickets before they sell out!
