It’s official. Festival für Immaterielle Kunst will not happen this year due to lack of funding. After three years of developing and making the festival known – all through the years of Covid! – we didn’t receive any money at all, not even for a substitution panel to focus on our dialogue and communication aspects. We are sad and disappointed, drained by writing all these applications for nothing. It is a general political problem and many projects didn't get or got too little funding this year.
We didn't give up hope for the festival completely yet, the application for 2024 is already out! So stay with us if Festival für Immaterielle Kunst can start again next year – with amazing and crazy artist who make us do all this immense work, who need this platform and make us see how necessary this festivals existence actually is! Thank you!
