Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Antiphon” formed the magnificent finale of the first-round program by Hannes Nedele and Dani Zhogovska.
It is the fifth and final song from the cycle “Five Mystical Songs” (1911), set to poems by George Herbert. Vaughan Williams created a radiant and majestic hymn of praise that calls the entire creation to glorify God.
