"My angel, my everything, my self" - this is how Ludwig van Beethoven once began a letter to his "immortal beloved", whose identity has still not been revealed. 💓 This letter became the inspiration for Detlev Glanert's second violin concerto, which will be performed tonight by the dedicatee Midori and NDR Radiophilharmonie under at NDR Landesfunkhaus Niedersachsen, Hannover. My new single “A Chloris” is out today!
The beloved song of Reynaldo Hahn was the first piece I heard by the composer. Its sheer beauty and elegance mesmerized me instantly and I recently transcribed the piece for solo piano so I can play it anytime I want. I hope you will enjoy listening to my new arrangement!
