😎 Raising the bar for tmt34!
😍 One week ago we kicked off the 33rd Tonmeistertagung and we’re still searching for substitutes for ‘being absolutely blown away’! A sensational atmosphere, smiling faces without exception, and, of course, high-caliber professional exchange: this Tonmeistertagung confirms its reputation as the most important pro audio event.
🎉 tmt33 saw a whopping 30% increase in participants and visitors. The 2025 Tonmeistertagung is therefore likely to go down as the best-attended tmt in the 75-year history of the VDT. Equally noticeable was a significant drop in the average age across all areas of the event, underscoring the relevance of the Tonmeistertagung for audio professionals of all ages.
🫶 We would like to thank everyone who made this Tonmeistertagung such an extraordinarily successful event with their presence and participation! We are delighted to see that we have consistently developed the Tonmeistertagung in the right direction over the last six years. This is also reflected in the continuous positive feedback from all sides. Even though we have set the bar quite high for 2027, we are confident that, with the support of an exceptional and internationally active pro audio community, there is still plenty of room for improvement in 2027.

tmt34: Die Messlatte liegt hoch!
Vor einer Woche startete die 33. Tonmeistertagung – und wir suchen immer noch nach den richtigen Worten, mit denen wir unsere Begeisterung ausdrücken können! Eine sensationelle Stimmung, ausnahmslos lachende Gesichter, und natürlich der hochkarätige fachliche Austausch: Diese Tonmeistertagung manifestiert ihren Ruf als mittlerweile bedeutendstes Pro-Audio-Event.
Im Vergleich zu 2023 konnte die tmt33 einen satten Zuwachs an Teilnehmenden und Besucher*innen von 30% verbuchen. Die Tonmeistertagung 2025 geht damit als die vermutlich bestbesuchteste tmt in die 75-jährige Geschichte des VDT eingehen. Ebenso deutlich sichtbar war der merklich gesunkene Altersdurchschnitt quer durch alle Bereiche der Veranstaltung, was die Relevanz der Tonmeistertagung für Audio-Profis aller Altersklassen unterstreicht.
Wir möchten uns bei allen bedanken, die diese Tonmeistertagung durch ihre Anwesenheit und ihre Mitwirkung zu einem solch außergewöhnlichen Event gemacht haben! Es freut uns wahnsinnig zu sehen, dass wir die Tonmeistertagung über die letzten sechs Jahre konsequent in die richtige Richtung entwickelt haben. Dies spiegelt sich auch im nicht abreißenden positiven Feedback von allen Seiten wider. Auch wenn wir die Latte für 2027 damit ziemlich hochgelegt haben, sind wir uns sicher, dass unterstützt durch eine außergewöhnliche und international aktive Pro-Audio-Community, für 2027 noch einiges an Luft nach oben bleibt.
