Witch Cross - Heavy Metal aus Kopenhagen

Das Debütalbum von Witch Cross, „Fit For Fight“, katapultierte die Band in den 80ern an die Spitze der dänischen Metal-Szene.
Doch danach folgten 27 Jahre fast völliger Stille, bevor sie sich 2012 für einen Auftritt beim „Keep it True“-Festival wiedervereinigten.
Ihre nächsten beiden Alben wurden für ihr technisches Können, ihre emotionale Tiefe und ihre unerschütterliche Treue zum Genre hoch gelobt. Sie festigten ihren Status als eine der fesselndsten und innovativsten Metal-Bands der Moderne.

Wir freuen uns daher sehr, dass Witch Cross nicht nur eine Reihe von Konzerten in ganz Europa spielen, bevor sie sich wieder ins Studio begeben, um ihr lang erwartetes viertes Album aufzunehmen, sondern auch bei unserem Festival haltmachen. Night Flight to Wischfest quasi.

🇬🇧 The first album of Witch Cross “Fit For Fight” put the band to the forefront of the Danish metal scene in the 80s.
But what followed were 27 years of near silence before they reformed in 2012 for a show at “Keep it True”.
Their next two albums received widespread praise for their technical prowess, emotional depth and unwavering commitment to the genre. They solidified their status as one of the most compelling and innovative metal acts of the modern era.

Employer - Heavy Metal aus Oldenburg

Vor bald 4 Jahren sagten Employer “Ja” und verpflichteten sich in ihrem musikalischen Stil fest dem traditionellen Heavy Metal.
Mit drückenden Bässen, aggressiven Double-Bass-Parts und dem markanten Twin-Guitar-Sound erinnern sie stark an ihre Idole wie Iron Maiden und Judas Priest.
Sie wollen nicht nur auf die Wischfest-Bühne, sondern auch in euer Ohr.
Praktisch, dass ihre mitreißenden Melodien genau da hingehen!

Blitz - Speed Metal aus Hamburg

Vor 5 Jahren haben sie sich selbst aus Leuten der norddeutschen Szene zusammengezimmert und sind seitdem eine der Abrissbirnen aus dem Hamburger Underground.
Demos rausgehauen, Gigs gezockt, Szene abgeholt.
Blitz stehen für kompromisslosen High-Speed-Metal ohne Schnickschnack.
Mit dreckigem Old-School-Vibe, pur und schnell für Nackenmuskeln und Kutten.
Wenn ihr auf Turbo-Riffs und Bierduschen steht, dann seid ihr bei ihnen genau richtig!

They've released demos, played gigs, and won over the scene.

Unsere diesjährige Hausband ist *das* Wischfest-Urgestein. Freut euch auf die Reunion!

Dehumaniser waren zwar nicht die ersten, die auf der Wischfest-Bühne standen (das waren Stÿropor) aber dafür die ersten, die sie aufgebaut haben.

Dafür stehen sie dieses Jahr als erstes drauf, denn sie werden das Festival am Freitag für euch eröffnen!

🇬🇧 This year's house band is *the* Wischfest veterans. The reunion is happening!

Dehumaniser weren't the first to stand on the Wischfest stage (that was Stÿropor), but they were the first to set it up.

But this year they'll be first on it, because they'll be opening the festival for you on Friday!

Scarblade - Heavy Metal aus Göteborg

Gegründet 2012 noch unter anderem Namen in Athen, zog Sängerin Alicke mit neuem Bandnamen im Gepäck nach Göteborg in Schweden und gründete dort 2015 “Scarblade”.
Zu unserem Glück, denn eine Anreise aus Griechenland wäre wahrscheinlich nicht so einfach zu managen gewesen.
Die mittlerweile 5-köpfige Band haben wir letztes Jahr im Bambi gesehen und mussten sie natürlich vom Fleck weg fragen, ob sie auch zum Wischfest kommen wollen!
Und zu eurem Glück wollen sie!
Noch dazu ist ein neues Album auf dem Weg und bis dahin könnt ihr in ihre erste Platte “The Cosmic Warth” von 2016 und ihre letzten beiden Singles “Craving Heart” und “Ready for Action” reinhören.

🇬🇧 Founded in 2012 under a different name in Athens, singer Alicke moved to Gothenburg, Sweden with a new band name in tow and founded "Scarblade" there in 2015.
Lucky for us, because a trip from Greece would probably not have been so easy to manage.
We saw the now 5-member band last year at Bambi and naturally had to ask them on the spot if they wanted to come to the Wischfest too!
And lucky for you, they do!
On top of that, a new album is on the way and until then you can listen to their first record "The Cosmic Warth" from 2016 and their last two singles "Craving Heart" and "Ready for Action".

Lunatic - Thrash Metal aus Kiel

“The lunatic is on the grass” sangen schon Pink Floyd, und sie sollten recht behalten, denn dieses Jahr sind die LUNATICs auf unserer Wiese!
Es wird energiegeladen, melodisch und intensiv.

Lunatic scheuen sich nicht davor, den Wahnsinn der Welt in ihren Texten zu reflektieren und vom Wahnsinn in der Welt haben wir ja aktuell genug. So viel, dass man sich vielleicht lieber lebendig aufessen lassen würde?

Aber bevor ihr das macht, hört lieber in ihre erste EP “Eaten Alive” rein!

Wie bitte waaaasss?? Stÿropor beim Wischfest?? Das ist ja eine Neuigkeit sondergleichen!
Aber für alle neuen Gäste des Wischfests: Stÿropor dürft ihr nicht verpassen und jeder, der sie erlebt hat, wird euch das Gleiche raten.

Seit 2021 gehören sie zu uns und mittlerweile sind wir uns nichtmal mehr sicher, ob sie die Wiese überhaupt noch verlassen.
Das heißt, sie sind auch jetzt schon bereit und warten auf euch!

Mechanic Tyrants - Speed Metal aus Nürnberg

Bock auf ein furioses Speed-Spektakel? Wussten wir!
Deswegen holen wir euch dieses Jahr Mechanic Tyrants mit Vollgas aus Nürnberg ran.
Die vierköpfige Riffmaschine versprüht live mehr Energie als ein kollabierter Kernreaktor und wo könnte man das besser erleben, als in Schleswig-Holstein, wo wir eh schon ein paar Zwischenlager für Hochradioaktives haben.
Mechanic Tyrants, lasst uns euer Zwischenlager sein!

That's why we're bringing you Mechanic Tyrants at full throttle from Nuremberg this year.
The four-piece riff machine radiates live more energy than a collapsed nuclear reactor, and where better to experience that than in Schleswig-Holstein, where we already have a few interim storage facilities for highly radioactive material anyway.
