Jack Morgan – Edinburgh, Scotland

Jack Morgan’s journey with Northern Soul started at a young age. Raised on the music by his father, he began attending soul events at just 12 years old. Since then, he’s travelled to countless events and legendary nights across Britain — and he’s still hitting the floor.

From Portobello Town Hall and 51st State in Dundee to Room at the Top in Manchester, Jack has experienced some of the scene’s most memorable venues. He’s also had the chance to spin records at events including Soaked in Soul in Hull and Barraloada Soul in Glasgow.

One of his biggest highlights came at Blackpool in 2023, when Jack won the Northern Soul dance competition — with his dad there to share the moment, making it even more special.

More recently, Jack appeared as a dancer in Brooke Combe’s music video for How Can I Tell You — another unforgettable experience and a chance to bring Northern Soul to a whole new audience.

Now Jack is heading to Cologne Soul Weekender to share his passion, experience and a few secrets about expressing yourself on the Northern Soul dancefloor.

Imke Keyssler aka Ada Loveshake is a Hamburg based (rare) soul collector and DJ.
Back in 2010 she was co-founder of the Hamburg based DJ-collective ‚45 Degrees‘.
In recent years Imke has been deejaying at various European Weekenders and Nighters such as Movin’ On Barcelona, Liverpool Soul Weekender, Stockholm Soul Weekender and Nuremberg Soul Weekender. Nowadays she’s part of the BBL unlimited crew with nights at Mojo Jazz Café.

She loves and plays all styles of soulful music, 60s as well as 70s, plus a bit of 80s and todays tunes.

George Rodriguez (USA)

Born and raised in Los Angeles and now based in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, George Rodriguez has been collecting and playing soul 45s since the mid-1990s. His journey began with the legendary Golden State Society rare soul nights in California, before he went on to co-found the iconic Angel City Soul Club in Los Angeles.

Today, George is part of Minneapolis’ monthly Hipshaker funk & soul 45 night and remains a dedicated collector with a deep passion for 60s and 70s soul. His sets draw on rare soul, Northern Soul, R&B, funk and overlooked gems — always with a strong focus on quality, atmosphere and the magic of the original 45.

Over the years, George has taken his distinctive sound to clubs and weekender events across the USA, UK and Europe, including Bamberg Weekender, 100 Club London, Deep Cliffs Portugal, Liverpool Soul Weekend, Pordenone Soul Weekend, Emerald City Soul Weekend, Keystone Soul Weekend, Bristol Northern Soul, Chicano Review Weekend and Tighten Up Soul Weekend.

And of course, we’re delighted to welcome George back to the Cologne Soul Weekender.

DJ LISA WOLVERSON 🇮🇪

Music has been at the heart of Lisa Wolverson’s life since childhood. Her journey into Northern Soul began in 1983 in a small basement club in Dublin — a place that became part of Ireland’s early Northern Soul story.

From Northern Soul to Jazz Funk, Modern Soul and House, Lisa has always followed the music wherever the soul takes her. After 30 years living in London, she returned to Dublin and began DJing around ten years ago. Since then, she has played across the UK and Europe and is now also a co-host of the D8 Dublin Soul Weekender.

A passionate collector, Lisa’s sets draw heavily on Crossover, Modern Soul and Sweet Soul — always with that unmistakable soulful feeling at their core.

For Lisa, it’s simple: music makes her heartbeat. ❤️
