Dort spielten bereits Urinal Tribunal, Retribution und IXTXUXNX. Daraufhin beschlossen 4 Jungs und 1 Mädel ein Open-Air zu veranstalten, dass für jeden eine geile Party werden sollte. So fand im Mai 2008 das erste offizielle Ranger-Rock Open-Air am Sportplatz in Brand mit 4 Bands statt. 2009 zog man auf das Gelände des alten Freibad in Brand.
