According to VeryDarkMan, MTN Nigeria should expect a letter from his lawyers demanding a detailed explanation over the alleged use of his private phone number for the Dangote IPO campaign without his consent.

He argued that his number, which is linked to his NIN, was used without permission and said if MTN’s explanation is not satisfactory, he is prepared to challenge the matter in court.

VDM also said the Dangote IPO looks like a Ponzi scheme to him. He questioned why shares are being offered from ₦5,000 while everyday essentials like cement, petroleum products, rice, and sugar remain expensive, arguing that reducing the prices of those goods would have a greater impact on Nigerians’ lives.
