Happy feminist day! It's with slightly heavy hearts we wake up to another March 8th without the Berlin Feminist Film Week. Since 2014 we've celebrated seven amazing International Women's Days with you - discovering the work of amazing filmmakers, listening to interesting perspectives, and sharing ideas and thoughts with our wonderful community. The pandemic break in 2021 was a blessing in disguise: we really needed rest, but would probably never have chosen it voluntarily. Festivals are hard work, especially with a cause so close to your heart, and with limited funding. In the name of self-care we decided to extend our break a little longer before planning our next event. We are very sad to be spending yet another March 8th without our beloved festival community, however, bear with us, we miss you and we will be back!
