What a night.
WIPE blew the roof off. A full house, loud cheers, wild reactions, and a crowd that refused to leave. The films hit hard, the audience hit back harder, and the room felt like it might burst from all the beautiful chaos.

Huge thanks to every filmmaker who trusted us with their work! You made the night electric.
And massive love to the musicians and singers who carried the evening with sound, sweat, and soul. You turned the whole place into one big beating heart.

Berlin wants more.
They’ll be back.
So keep making your films. Messy, tender, strange, brave.
We’ll be waiting for the next wave of amateur magic.

Tonight.
No more countdowns, no more teasing. The whole wild machine is already humming in the dark, waiting for the doors to crack open and let the crowd pour in. The films are loaded, the projectors warmed, the beer cold enough to shock a dead man awake.

There are no awards tonight unless you bring your own, tape it to your chest, and declare yourself victorious. WIPE doesn’t judge. WIPE doesn’t crown. WIPE just screens the beautiful, reckless works people made because they had to.

Everything is set.
The night is ready.
Now we’re just waiting for you lunatics to arrive.

People keep telling us the venue is hard to find.
Of course it is. Nothing good is ever waiting on the main road under fluorescent lights and a “WELCOME” sign.

But listen, your internal compass knows.
Follow the river. Follow the chaos. Follow the faint vibration of questionable life choices and unpolished cinema.

It’s the biggest self-organized artist space in Berlin, rising like a half-feral dream on the banks of the Spree. Walk past Club der Visionäre > keep going > straight ahead like you mean it. If you feel like you’ve gone too far, you’re almost there. There’s a door. It doesn’t look like it should be a door. That’s the one.

Trust the instinct.
WIPE finds those who are meant to arrive.

The program is out. A wild, borderless sprawl of films from everywhere the map bleeds color. Uganda, Azerbaijan, the United States, the Dominican Republic, Sudan and beyond. Proof that cinema doesn’t belong to studios or glittering coastal dream-factories. It belongs to anyone insane enough to pick up a camera and point it at their life.

There are amateur filmmakers in every corner of this planet, hiding in rooms, backyards, rooftops, buses, fields, internet cafés, kitchen floors. But there’s only one place where you actually get to see what they’ve made.

WIPE is this Friday.
Clear the schedule. Burn the excuses.

The countdown rattles like a loose engine on a road trip through cinematic chaos. The films are nearly ready, stitched together with insomnia, stubbornness, and the holy madness of people who refuse to wait for permission to make art.

Berlin, brace yourself.
On November 14, WIPE storms back into Flutgraben for its 9th edition of cinematic anarchy. The world is on fire and we’re screening the ashes: Raw films from Sudan to Brazil, Iceland to Uganda, Germany to the USA. No schools, no masters, no goddamn gatekeepers.

Forget velvet seats and polite silence. At WIPE you drink, you shout, you wander, you get lost in the images and maybe in yourself. This isn’t cinema as you know it. It’s cinema ripped out of its cage and set loose on the night.
WIPE is Berlin’s most unprofessional festival. And that’s exactly why it matters.
