Με συγκίνηση, ενθουσιασμό και εξαιρετικά θερμή ανταπόκριση από το κοινό, στέφθηκε με απόλυτη επιτυχία η εναρκτήρια εκδήλωση του Gris Festival 2026 στην καρδιά της Αθήνας! Μια μοναδική πολιτιστική βραδιά εγκαινίασε τη φετινή διεθνή διαδρομή του φεστιβάλ, ενώνοντας την Αθήνα, το Λονδίνο και το Βερολίνο.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκδήλωσης, αποκαλύφθηκε το πολυσυλλεκτικό πρόγραμμα της φετινής διοργάνωσης, ενώ οι ομιλητές Andreas Michalopoulos και Clio Fanouraki συνέδεσαν μοναδικά την ακαδημαϊκή γνώση με την τέχνη. Η βραδιά κορυφώθηκε με τη μουσική, καθώς η πολυβραβευμένη πιανίστρια Evelina Antemisari (Royal College of Music, London) μάγεψε το κοινό με ένα πρόγραμμα-γέφυρα κλασικών και πρωτότυπων συνθέσεων.

"Aesop | Then and Now"
As part of the GRis Festival 2026, the Greek Community of 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻 hosts a unique interactive puppet theatre performance by the 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝘀, based on 𝗔𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗽'𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀, designed for children and adult audiences alike.

The performance begins with the traditional version of each fable as known through tradition, but then evolves into a lively dialogue with the audience. Active participation turns the performance into an experiential journey that cultivates imagination, critical thinking, and cooperation, while in the final fable, children come up on stage and directly take part in the action.

Double Act | Grey River & The Smoky Mountain | LIA HIDE

𝗚𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 & 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 trio blends American, Irish, and European folk with bluegrass, country, and blues. Led by Rena Papageorgiou (vocals, mandolin), 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗼𝘀 (guitar, vocals), and 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗼𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘀 (violin), the trio explores the light and dark sides of human nature, decay, hope, and rebirth through a reflective musical journey.

As part of the 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 2026, the legendary band Ypogeia Revmata hits the stage of the iconic Bush Hall in London on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵.

A unique concert where Greek literary heritage meets the electric sound. Works by 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀, 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀, 𝗚𝗿𝘆𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀 are transformed into an atmospheric musical experience, bridging the gap between classical poetry and contemporary artistic expression.

The event will be introduced by Professor of Latin Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Andreas Michalopoulos, who will discuss the timeless value of Greek poetry and the dynamics of its translation into contemporary music. An evening that begins with a reflective look at tradition and culminates in the iconic tracks that have defined the band’s legacy.

Παρουσίαση Προγράμματος & Ρεσιτάλ Πιάνου 🇬🇷🇬🇧🇩🇪

Το 𝗚𝗥𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 ξεκινά το πολιτιστικό του ταξίδι, την Τρίτη 8 Σεπτεμβρίου, στο εμβληματικό Μουσείο Ιστορίας του ΕΚΠΑ (Αίθουσα Καθηγητή Ηλία Κρίσπη), στην καρδιά της Αθήνας. Η βραδιά αποτελεί το πρώτο βήμα μιας διεθνούς διαδρομής που ενώνει την Αθήνα, το Λονδίνο και το Βερολίνο.

Στο πλαίσιο της εκδήλωσης, θα παρουσιαστεί το πολυσυλλεκτικό πρόγραμμα της φετινής διοργάνωσης, ενώ η συζήτηση θα εστιάσει στη γέφυρα μεταξύ ακαδημαϊκής γνώσης και καλλιτεχνικής δημιουργίας. Κεντρικοί ομιλητές θα είναι ο Καθηγητής Λατινικής Φιλολογίας του ΕΚΠΑ, Andreas Michalopoulos , και η Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Θεατρικών Σπουδών του ΕΚΠΑ, Clio Fanouraki

Η εναρκτήρια βραδιά ολοκληρώνεται με ένα μοναδικό ρεσιτάλ πιάνου από την πολυβραβευμένη πιανίστρια. Evelina Antemisari (𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰, 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻). As part of the GRis Festival 2026, the Lancaster Room at the 43LG Conference and Events Venue in hosts the interdisciplinary conference “ARC” on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵.

The “ARC” conference explores the meeting point of art, music, and health sciences, focusing on the lived experience of pregnancy and everything that accompanies it on a physical, mental, and social level.
