For our next installation becomes a stage!
VERNISSAGE AUGUST 13th 2020

enchants us with *Everyday Stages* a series of various scenarios.
Otto will perform a live act including singing, speaking and reading aloud accompanied by his art.

Otto Oscar Hernández Ruiz works within three art mediums: painting, drawing and performance and through this explores the construction and deconstruction of one’s own perception of an environment. His works repeatedly deal with the design of landscape. In his site-specific performance he articulates on an audio-visual level – always interacting with the audience, music and location.

Otto Oscar Hernández Ruiz 1976 was born and raised in Havana (CUB). After receiving his diploma in 1999 in Architecture at the University of Havana, he worked in his learned profession until 2002 when he moved to Germany. From 2004 Otto studied fine arts with Prof. Liz Bachhuber at the Bauhaus University Weimar.

Our Story

WoMA - The Window of Modern Art, Berlin Thursdays 7:00 PM Founded in the spring of 2017 by Jacob van Doren & Laura Leo with the intention to provide a public showcase for artists from a wide spectrum of notoriety and disciplines.
