WRAA was founded in 2012. We are the governing body of Afghan surfing.

WRAA was founded in 2012. Our main guidelines are:

1. Serving as a platform for all Afghan Wave Riders to share their joy in this amazing sport.

2. Introducing surfing to all the potential Afghan Wave Riders who have not had a chance to experience this sport yet.

3. Presenting the beauty of Afghanistan and it's people to the world by t

aking part in the international surfing community. These are some of our short and long term goals:

• Join the ISA.
• host the Afghan national championships.
• participate in the ISA world surfing games.
• establish a youth national Team.
• find an undiscovered spot and name it: "New Kabul"
• build a wavepark in Afghanistan. We kindly invite you to support us and to become a part of our circle of friends.
