• Grito Exclamac!ón is a movement born from the search for self and a counterculture that responds to the social problems they experience daily by creating resonant expressions in music. From Mexico City, they always seek an intimate, cathartic, and chaotic interaction that envelops you in a theatrical narrative, describing their reality through aggressive verses, angular guitars, eclectic rhythms, melodic basses, and sporadic trumpets, creating a raw, direct, and carefree aesthetic.

• J MAHON & The Heavenly Pop Hits is the musical project of Berlin-based Australian expat Jarrod Michael Mahon. After years of self-released home recordings, he debuted with Everything Has a Life in 2023, produced with Syd Kemp (Thurston Moore, Ulrika Spacek, Spiritualized). In 2025, Mahon signed to Unique Records and reunited with Kemp for his second album, the chamber-pop Begin Again, Again, released June 27. Influenced by Sparklehorse, Spiritualized and Daniel Johnston, Mahon’s songs combine intimate pop, chamber strings and guitar feedback. Live, he moves between haunting solo sets and a powerful seven-piece band, having performed at SXSW, The Great Escape and toured with artists including King Krule, Speedy Ortiz and Ariel Pink.

• Dazzling Killmen

Foundational math rock and post-metal band Dazzling Killmen, known for strong noise rock and jazzcore elements, have announced their reformation and return to live performances. Founding members Nick Sakes (vocals, guitar) and Blake Fleming (drums, later of The Mars Volta) will perform together for the first time in 30 years, joined by bassist Evan Jagels and guitarist Ben Greenberg of Uniform. Formed in the St. Louis area in 1990, Dazzling Killmen originally consisted of vocalist/guitarist Nick Sakes alongside jazz students Blake Fleming and bassist Darin Gray. The band released four singles, a live cassette and two full-length albums before officially disbanding in 1995, with most of their catalog released on the influential independent label SKiN GRAFT Records. Drawing equally from hardcore punk and jazz, Dazzling Killmen have long been cited by critics and peers as a key influence on the development of math rock and post-metal.

Germany’s Prophet & Flesh fuse heavy metal, hardcore punk and filthy rock’n’roll into a sound that is both melodic and crushing. Drawing on everything from Darkthrone, Poison Idea and Entombed to Thin Lizzy and gothic rock, the band deliver sharp riffs, real weight and plenty of unexpected twists.

The internationally renowned NYC beatmaker Blockhead teams up with French producer ProleteR and Berlin-based Arms and Sleepers for a UK & European tour in Autumn 2026. Alongside new releases, the artists will also present a collaborative single created especially for the tour.

Former Ninja Tune artist Blockhead returns following the acclaimed 2024 album Mortality Is Lit! (Future Archive Recordings), praised by BBC, KEXP and others. His recent output also includes collaborations with Aesop Rock (Garbology) and the rap record The Aux. A key figure in instrumental hip-hop, he delivers an immersive live set with visuals, drawing on 25 years of work.

Over the past decade, ProleteR has become a standout name in electro, nu-jazz, swing-hop and instrumental hip-hop. Blending jazz samples, boom-bap rhythms and electro-soul, he’s built a signature sound balancing nostalgia and modernity. With 200+ million streams and a global audience, his music has helped define swing-infused hip-hop worldwide.

Founded in 2006 in Boston and now based in Berlin, Arms and Sleepers is the project of Mirza Ramic. With 14 albums and 20 EPs, it merges experimental hip-hop textures with ambient and post-rock influences. The latest album What Tomorrow Brings (Pelagic Records, 2024) received major press, including The New York Times. In 2026, the project celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Uvazhaemiy is the solo experimental music project of Vitalii Zimin, a Berlin-based musician and founder of the independent label Crunch Tapes. The project blends sharp irony with raw emotional honesty. Built around distorted guitars, funky beats, minimal electronics, and intentionally theatrical, absurdist vocals that shift between styles, Uvazhaemiy plays with contrast: irony and sincerity, simplicity and tension, humor and discomfort.

We’re happy to announce that Pool Girl will be joining Sports as a special guest at their Berlin show on November 2 at SO36 ✨

Pool Girl is the solo project of Carpinteria, California-native artist and producer Allie Nixon. Raised on her dad’s Beatles and Beach Boys records, she later found her own sound through 2010s icons like Passion Pit, MGMT, Gorillaz, Beach House, and Tame Impala. During the 2020 lockdown, she taught herself to produce at home, later adding DJing to sharpen her sense of rhythm, texture, and tension.

Written between California and France, her debut album Melancholic Beach Town (out September 18, 2026) is a bittersweet love story to Carpinteria woven from patient basslines, drifting synths, and surf-tinged guitars. Entirely written and co-produced by Nixon, it follows her debut EP Trophy Wife (3M+ streams, Fresh Finds, Lorem, Ones To Watch, Wonderland, COLORS).

Dent May brings his bittersweet, exuberant indie pop to Berlin. Over a career spanning more than 17 years, the Mississippi-born, Los Angeles-based songwriter has built a singular world of irresistible melodies, lush arrangements and ecstatic melancholy — music that can break your heart while making you sing along.

From the DIY spirit of The Magnetic Fields and Elephant 6 to the timeless songwriting of Harry Nilsson and Paul McCartney, May has developed a sound entirely his own across six albums, alongside collaborations including the platinum-certified “Something About You” with Eyedress.

His new album The Big One marks a new chapter: abandoning his meticulous bedroom-pop routine, May gathered a rotating cast of LA musicians for spontaneous live sessions built around improvisation and chemistry. The result is warm, playful and deeply human pop music — melancholic but hopeful, celebrating friendship, community and the strange joy of being alive.
