With a new season, our monthly calendar poster are coming back! The one for October is a delicate work of Candy Bassas

With her band Pretty Average she played already a couple of shows for us!

Born 1992 in Barcelona. Candy Bassas lives and works in Berlin since 2016. She graduated in Illustration and Costume Design in 2016 in Barcelona, and is currently a student of fine arts in the class of David Schutter at the Berlin University of the Arts. Her main disciplines are painting, printmaking, writing and music performance.

Poster will be available for download for our Patreons, together with a ton of free shows! A steady monthly support helps navigating fluctuating tickets sales and other hazards of this crazy industry. 07.02.2027 Will Samson at ufaFabrik

For fans of: Sufjan Stephens, Bon Iver, Björk

Unbound by genre limitations, Will Samson has spent over a decade exploring the spaces between electronic, folk and ambient sounds focused on immersive listening and analogue recording techniques.

With maternal grandparents born in Chile & West Bengal (subsequently meeting in Kenya), Samson has often displayed a somewhat restless nature in both his artistic and personal life. Born in Oxford, he emigrated soon afterwards with his parents to Western Australia, where he lived for ten years before returning to the UK. A little over a decade later, he began shifting between Oxford and Berlin, then Brighton, Lisbon, Brussels and back to the England. It’s clear to see why much of Samson’s captivating work has often explored the nature of identity and belonging.

The mind-spinning indie-rock/folk/art of Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage developed when songwriter and comic book artist Jeffrey Lewis began recording homemade cassettes in New York City in 1998; his critically acclaimed, unusual and word-dense songs lead to Jeffrey signing to Rough Trade Records in 2001 (record label of The Smiths, The Strokes, etc.), and the project evolved into a live touring cult sensation around the world. Creating a brilliant style of scuzzy urban indie-rock-folk, like a 21st Century mash-up of Sonic Youth, Pete Seeger and R. Crumb, Jeffrey’s band has played countless gigs all over the world, including playing as the opening act for icons like the Mountain Goats, Daniel Johnston, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Dinosaur Jr, The Fall, Dr. Dog, Pulp, Roky Erickson, The Vaselines, and more. Lener’s songs are hymns dedicated to what was, what could have been, and to the courage to keep going despite everything. “Maybe in another life,” she sings, while the drums pound away like a raging torrent of thoughts. A hymn for all the decisions that were never made, for all the crossroads that led into the unknown. A line for those who lie awake at night wondering what would have happened if…— yet therein lies its power: in the realization that it doesn’t matter. That any direction is the correct one, as long as it feels honest.
