PPC 1500 World Championship 2017

We did it! The 2017 PPC World Championships are over and people are on their way home.

This will be our last official post so we're gonna do it both in German and English.

Wir möchten uns im Namen unseres PPC 1500 Orga Teams noch einmal sehr herzlich bei euch Schützen für euer Kommen bedanken. Und nicht nur dafür, sondern auch für eure Geduld und euer Verständnis, wenn mal nicht alles ganz rund gelaufen ist. Die WM hat einige Widrigkeiten mit sich gebracht, die wir aber dank großartiger Hilfe schnell beseitigen konnten.
Unser ganz besonderer Dank gilt unseren wunderbaren ROs, die sich eine Woche lang unermüdlich an die Stände gestellt und Match für Match beaufsichtigt haben. Wir haben sehr viele lobende Worte für eure Arbeit erhalten. Ihr seid die Besten 🙂
Des Weiteren möchten wir uns selbstverständlich auch bei den Ausstellern für ihr Kommen bedanken. Und bei allen sonstigen Helfern, ohne die diese WM nicht möglich gewesen wäre. Es war für uns eine sehr spannende und wunderschöne Woche. Und auch wenn wir allesamt ziemlich platt sind, möchten wir dieses unglaubliche Erlebnis nicht missen wollen. Mit 12 teilnehmenden Nationen und ca. 380 Schützen mit insgesamt 2150 Starts hat die WM eine ungeahnte Dimension erreicht. Wir hoffen, ihr hattet alle eine gute Zeit und habt euren Besuch bei uns in Alsfeld genossen.

Wir werden uns mit Sicherheit bald wiedersehen: entweder zur EM 2018 in Schweden oder zur WM 2019 in Australien.

On behalf of the PPC 1500 organization team we would like to thank all our fellow shooters for their visit as well as for their understanding and their patience when things didn't quite go as planned. It was a wonderful week and we really enjoyed having you as our guests. The smiles and happy faces we've seen throughout the week on the ranges are the best reward one can get.
A special thanks goes to our awesome range officer teams who truly rocked the ranges day after day without complaining. Without your support these World Championships wouldn't have been possible. You guys are the best 🙂
In addition we would like to thank all exhibitors for their coming. And of course thanks to all of our supporters who helped in any way throughout the week. With 12 different nations, approximately 380 shooters and 2150 starts these World Championships just blew our minds.

The complete results will be online sometime this evening. In addition we'll send them to the WA 1500 organization for the ranking lists.

Thank you so much for the chance of having been your host for the 2017 PPC World Championships. We hope you had a great time and enjoyed your stay in Alsfeld.

We will see each other again: either at the 2018 European Championships in Sweden (heja Sverige!) or the 2019 World Championships in Australia (Go Aussies!).

Time sure does fly when you're having a good time. It's already day three of the 2017 PPC World Championships in Alsfeld and we're facing a day of more shooting matches and as a special highlight: the prize giving ceremony and afterward dinner in the evening.
After some heavy rain showers yesterday we were pretty busy and thus weren't able to post pictures. We'll catch up today! // Kelly

Day two of the 2017 PPC 1500 World Championships - the range is still asleep. We're looking forward to another great day in Alsfeld (though there are chances of thunderstorms in the afternoon, so it might get a little uncomfortable temporarily). We'll keep you updated // Kelly
