Děkujeme Divadelní noviny a Jana Soprova za publikaci článku k výročí 25 let Prague Fringe a velmi si vážíme dlouholeté spolupráce. ❤️

V rozhovoru mluví zakladatel a ředitel festivalu Steve Gove mimo jiné o tom, jak se Fringe za poslední čtvrtstoletí rozrostl v mezinárodní festival, který každoročně přiváží na Malou Stranu umělce z celého světa a vytváří jedinečné a intimní místo pro setkávání publika i performerů.

Steve Gove zároveň zmiňuje letošní významný ročník, který kromě rozšířeného devítidenního programu přináší také návrat ke kořenům festivalu ve Skotsku. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 V programu tak nechybí skotská představení k oslavě výročí, stejně jako opravdu hvězdní performeři z Indie a speciální vystoupení z Tchaj-wanu.

Inspired by over 40 real-life stories collected through social media, the show blends magical realism with physical comedy to explore grief, healing and the strange ways we cope when life falls apart.

A mother leaves behind a piano. Her children are left with something they never asked for and everything that it represents. Piano Smashers is a powerful solo performance about inheritance, memory and the things we are expected to carry.
It asks a simple but uncomfortable question: do we always have to accept the past we are given, or can we choose to let it go? Inspired by major theatre influences, this is a stripped-back, thoughtful and quietly intense piece of storytelling. 🎭
