“Je fascinující sledovat, jak lidé z různých částí světa interpretují pojem ‘duch’ z velmi rozmanitých perspektiv: jak rezonuje v různých kontextech, co znamená pro ty, kdo pracují napříč divadelními sférami, a jak jej chtějí přenést na jeviště,” říká Pedro Gramegna Ardiles, kurátor programu PQ Performance nadcházejícího Pražského
Quadriennale 2027.

V rozhovoru pro Radio Praga Internacional se dozvíte, jaká byla jeho cesta z chilského městečka Copiapó v atacamské poušti do Prahy, a jak se z návštěvníka Quadriennale stal členem jeho kurátorského týmu.

“It is fascinating to see how people from different parts of the world interpret the concept of the ‘ghost’ from such diverse perspectives: how it resonates in each context, what it means to those working in theatre, and how they seek to bring it to the stage,” says Pedro Gramegna Ardiles, curator of the PQ Performance program for the upcoming Prague Quadrennial 2027.

In the interview for Radio Praga Internacional, Pedro speaks about his journey from the Chilean town of Copiapó in the Atacama Desert to Prague, and how he went from being a visitor to the Quadrennial to becoming a member of its curatorial team.

Zveme k zasílání návrhů na workshopy, které zkoumají materialitu, prostor, technologie, ekologii a vztahy mezi textem, tělem a objektem. PQ Studio se uskuteční ve Staré čistírně odpadních vod v pražské Bubenči. Workshopy by měly být založeny na spolupráci a vyústit ve společný výstup, který publiku PQ zprostředkuje tvůrčí proces.

PQ Talks zve umělce a umělkyně a badatele a badatelky k předkládání návrhů prezentačních příspěvků v rámci tematických okruhů „worlding, “surviving”, a “futuring”. Debatní program PQ 2027 bude zkoumat, jak scénografie formuje a reflektuje rozmanité kulturní, ekologické a technologické reality. V návaznosti na téma ročníku – Absence a ticha – si PQ Talks kladou za cíl nabídnout prostor marginalizovaným hlasům, opomíjeným příběhům a představám možných inkluzivnějších budoucností.

Skrze prezentaci a propagaci nových publikačních počinů v oboru scénografie program PQ Publication Cultures mapuje a síťuje znalostní komunity v oboru scénografie z celého světa. V rámci výzvy hledáme současné publikace z oblasti scénografie a performančního designu. Přihlášené publikace se mohou týkat všech scénografických oborů a mít fyzickou, digitální nebo hybridní povahu. Výzva je otevřená autorům a autorkám z celého světa.

PQ Studio will take place in a Historic wastewater treatment plant. Each workshop should foster collaboration and culminate in a shared outcome, offering audiences a tangible encounter with the creative process and performance design.

Through panels and flash talks, participants will exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and contribute to a global, cross-disciplinary dialogue on scenography and performance design.

PQ Publication Cultures maps and connects the global knowledge communities of scenography through the exhibition and promotion of recent publications. We are looking for publications that present recent work in scenography and performance design while connecting a global network of authors, editors, and publishers. Submissions may span all disciplines and can take physical, digital, or hybrid forms. Open to contributors worldwide.

Take a glimpse inside the Industrial Palace of the Prague Exhibition Grounds – the main venue of the upcoming Prague Quadrennial 2027🪩

As part of last week’s symposium, we organized a site visit for the curators of the Exhibition of Countries and Regions and the Student Exhibition, introducing them to the spaces that will host PQ 2027. Still under renovation, the venue offered a first look at its key features and technical specifications🔎

👏 Děkujeme, že jste s námi sdíleli*y čas, prostor a myšlenky na PQ Symposium: Performing Exhibitions, Curating Scenographies! Vyslechli*y jsme mnoho inspirativních přednášek a rozmanitých perspektiv napříč širokou škálou témat od více než 70 řečníků a řečnic z celého světa.

👏 Moc děkujeme všem mluvčím za skvělé společné tři dny a za možnost poznat všechny vaše nápady, projekty a postřehy!
