Mezinárodní rozhlasová soutěž pro mladé hudebníky/International Radio Competition for Young Musicians Soutěžící posuzuje mezinárodní odborná porota ve 2 kolech.

Concertino Praga - Dvořákova rozhlasová mezinárodní soutěž pro mladé hudebníky, se koná od roku 1966. Jedná se o víceoborovou soutěž, jejímž posláním je vyhledávat mimořádné talenty do 16, 18, resp. 21 let. Soutěže se mohou zúčastnit v sólové kategorii nástrojové obory housle, violoncello, klavír, cembalo, harfa, akordeon, flétna, hoboj, klarinet, saxofon, fagot, lesní roh, trubka a trombon, v komorní kategorii pak uskupení od duí po sexteta. V prvním kole porota hodnotí soutěžící anonymně na základě zaslaných nahrávek. Druhé kolo je veřejné a má formát koncertu, který proběhne v rámci mezinárodního hudebního festivalu Dvořákova Praha 2023 v Rudolfinu (sólová kategorie) a v Anežském klášteře (komorní kategorie). Pořadatelem je Český rozhlas společně s Akademií klasické hudby. Přihlášky je možno posílat do 31. března 2023. Více informací na https://concertino.rozhlas.cz/.

Concertino Praga - Antonín Dvořák International Radio Competition for Young Musicians, has been held since 1966. It is a multidisciplinary competition whose mission is to find exceptional talents up to 16, 18 or 21 years of age. The competition is open to violin, cello, piano, harpsichord, harp, accordion, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, horn, trumpet and trombone in the solo category, and to ensembles ranging from duos to sextets in the chamber category. The competitors are judged by an international jury over the course of two rounds. The first round is completely anonymous and based on the evaluation of the competitors’ recordings. The second round takes the form of a public concert held at the Rudolfinum (solo category) and and in the Convent of St. Agnes (chamber category) during the 2023 Dvořák Prague International Music Festival. The competition is organised by Czech Radio and the Academy of Classical Music. The application deadline is March 31, 2023. For more information, go to https://concertino.czechradio.eu/.

Concertino Praga 2027 has been announced! ✨

The 61st edition of the international competition for young musicians will once again feature two solo categories:

🎹 Keyboard & string instruments – piano, violin, viola, cello, harp and accordion
🎺 Wind instruments – flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, French horn and trombone

👧🧑 The competition is open to young musicians up to the age of 16, 17 or 18, depending on the instrument.

🏛️ Finalists will perform with an orchestra in Prague as part of the Dvořák Prague International Music Festival and compete for scholarships of up to €5,000, a professional Czech Radio recording 🎙️ and further concert opportunities 🎻

Kdysi stáli na pódiu Concertina Praga jako mladí soutěžící. Dnes se na něj vracejí jako výrazné osobnosti hudebního světa. ✨

Přijďte s námi oslavit 60 let Concertina Praga na mimořádný koncert, který propojí několik generací laureátů soutěže. V Rudolfinu vystoupí Dmitrij Sitkoveckij, Václav Hudeček, Radek Baborák, Daniel Matejča, Jan Čmejla a Filippo Lombardi společně se Symfonickým orchestrem Českého rozhlasu pod taktovkou Roberta Kružíka.

Join us in celebrating 60 years of Concertino Praga at a special concert bringing together several generations of the competition’s laureates. 📸 Can you help us solve a little Concertino Praga mystery?

While preparing an exhibition for the 60th anniversary of Concertino Praga, we came across several photographs that we have not been able to identify with certainty.

👉 The first photograph, from 1976, most likely shows pianist Lilia Zaiarnaia.
👉 The second photograph probably dates from 1988.
👉 The third photograph is also from 1988, and we believe it may show David Havelík.
