Přinášíme vám rozhovor s naším Safety Managerem Jakub Horký, který zároveň působí jako dobrovolný hasič v Kytlicích. Rozhovor o požáru v NP Češké Švýcarsko.

Kdo je vlastně Safety Manager a co dělá při závodě❓
Je to člověk, který má na starosti bezpečný průběh celého závodu - od zabezpečení trati a koordinace pořadatelů až po spolupráci s policií, hasiči, zdravotníky a dalšími složkami IZS. Jeho cílem je zajistit bezpečnost závodnic, diváků i všech lidí podél trati.

We bring you an interview with our Safety Manager, Jakub Horký, who also serves as a volunteer firefighter in Kytlice. The interview focuses on the wildfire in Czech Switzerland National Park.

Who is a Safety Manager and what do they do during a race❓
It is a person who is responsible for the safe running of the entire event - from securing the race route and coordinating marshals to cooperating with the police, firefighters, medical teams and other emergency services. Their goal is to ensure the safety of riders, spectators and everyone along the course.

Požár v Národní parku České Švýcarsko jsme v uplynulých dnech sledovali velmi bedlivě — nejen jako obyvatelé našeho regionu, ale také jako organizátoři Tour de Feminin.

Zásah byl mimořádně náročný. Na místě pracovaly desítky profesionálních i dobrovolných hasičů, Policie České republiky, příslušníci Armáda České republiky i hasiči ze Slovenska. Předevčírem bylo požářiště předáno zpět Správě Národní parku České Švýcarsko, která se na zvládání celé situace aktivně podílela od prvního dne 🙏🙏

Náš safety manager Jakub Horký byl jedním ze zasahujících hasičů — fotografie v tomto příspěvku jsou právě z jeho pohledu přímo z terénu.

Velké poděkování VÁM VŠEM, kteří jste pomáhali chránit krajinu, obce i lidi v našem regionu. 💛

Zároveň vyjadřujeme podporu Správě NP České Švýcarsko v dalších krocích, které budou následovat po ukončení zásahu.

Over the past few days, we have been following the wildfire in Czech Switzerland National Park very closely — not only as residents of our region, but also as the organisers of Tour de Feminin.

The operation was extremely demanding. Dozens of professional and volunteer firefighters, the Czech Police, members of the Czech Armed Forces and firefighters from Slovakia were working on site. The day before yesterday, the fire site was handed back to the Administration of Czech Switzerland National Park, which had been actively involved in managing the entire situation from day one 🙏🙏

Our safety manager, Jakub Horký, was one of the firefighters involved in the operation — the photos in this post are his direct view from the field.

A big THANK YOU to ALL OF YOU who helped protect the landscape, local communities and people in our region. 💛

At the same time, we would like to express our support to ### for the next steps that will follow after the emergency operation.

Na tiskové konferenci samozřejmě nechyběli ani partneři. Po úspěšném navázání spolupráce v minulém roce na závod opět vracejí – a nejen tam, ale také znovu s přednáškami na školy ve výběžku. Ředitelce Štěpánce Pokorné a celé Alianci žen s rakovinou prsu děkujeme. Těšíme se! 🩷🎗️

Své pohledy a očekávání nám sdělil také Vojta Řepa, sportovní ředitel VIF Cycling Teamu. S týmem určitě nemají v plánu stát někde opodál a pouze přihlížet. Bude se opravdu na co těšit. ⚡️
