🌸🐸 Büdingen Spring Feelings, Children’s Festival & Frog Parade 2026🌸🐸

Spring is arriving in Büdingen and we’re celebrating together!

On May 3, 2026, the historic old town will turn into a colorful spring festival filled with flowers, music, local market stalls, and family activities. Surrounded by medieval walls, charming streets, and blooming decorations, visitors can explore plants, garden items, jewelry, decorative crafts, and many new exhibitors.

Hidden beneath the surface – powerful stories underground.

The underground fortresses of the Cold War are among Europe’s most secretive and fascinating sites. Built deep inside rock, soil, and even coastal cliffs, these vast bunker systems and command centers were designed for extreme scenarios, today, they offer unique travel experiences.

From extensive tunnel networks to fully subterranean defense complexes like the Stevnsfort in Denmark, these sites reveal the hidden architecture and strategic thinking of the Cold War era.
