Are you ready to showcase your skills on an international stage? We are thrilled to invite pianists of all nationalities to the PETROF-DURANGO INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION 2026!

Hosted in collaboration with the Durango Music Conservatory, this is your chance to shine in beautiful Durango, Mexico, from May 17–25, 2026.

🌟Who can apply: Pianists under the age of 31 (as of May 17, 2026).
🏆 Prizes: Compete for cash prizes, including $50,000 MXN for 1st place in the Advanced category, plus special awards for the best performance of a Mexican work!

Con el propósito de consolidar el trabajo coordinado con el Gobierno de México, sostuve una reunión con el titular de la Secretaría de Educación Pública , Mario Delgado Carrillo , a quien agradezco la apertura y disposición para dialogar sobre los retos y oportunidades del sector educativo.

Reforzamos la colaboración con las instancias federales para seguir mejorando las condiciones educativas en Durango, conforme al compromiso establecido por el gobernador Esteban Villegas Villarreal.
