More than we think!

A good natural cork helps wine slowly “breathe” over time, develop complexity, and preserve its character in the bottle.

But if the cork is damaged, dried out, or contaminated with a compound called TCA, it can alter the wine's aroma and taste. Such wine usually loses its freshness and may have aromas of wet cardboard, damp basement, or mold.

A cork is much more than a way to close a bottle.

It is part of the wine’s journey, from the cellar to the glass. 🍇
