Five Days to Go: No Molds, No Minimums — Taotech Digital Brings the U2000 A2 Thick Label Printer to SIGN CHINA 2026
News summary — The 28th Shanghai International Sign & Display Exhibition (SIGN CHINA 2026) opens in five days, running September 15–17 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. At Booth W4-D33, Taotech Digital will run live demonstrations of the U2000 A2 thick label printer, printing 3D thick silicone heat-transfer labels with no mold, no screen, no baking and no minimum order — the file goes in, the label comes out, and a standard heat press does the rest. The U2000 pairs Epson-licensed HD3200 industrial printheads with a 420 mm (A2) print width, 2400 DPI physical resolution, CMYK + 2W + Varnish multi-channel output in a single pass, and a steady 1.2 m²/h.

Five days out: what to put in your bag
If you only do one thing before the show, do this — bring a logo file. Any vector or high-resolution artwork, your own product, even a swatch of the fabric you normally decorate. At W4-D33 the Taotech engineering team will print a thick label from your file on the spot and heat-press it onto your material, so you can judge the result with your own hands instead of a brochure: how high the relief sits, how the colors read on dark fabric, how the edges hold after a press cycle. Bring a sample of a thick silicone label you buy today, put the two side by side, and let the comparison do the talking.
That is the whole point of a five-day countdown. Specifications are easy to list; what a mold-free process actually changes for your order book is something you need to see pressed onto fabric.
What an "A2 thick label printer" actually is
The full process name is digitally printed 3D thick silicone heat-transfer labels. It is a category of its own in digital printing — it sits alongside water-based white-ink DTF, UV-DTF crystal labels and UV flatbed direct printing, but it exists to make apparel trims and three-dimensional decorative labels.
The traditional route to a 3D thick label is a mold room: an engraved steel mold is cut, silicone is pressed into it, then the label is heat-vulcanized. From final artwork to volume production, that is a week at minimum. A single new design often costs several thousand dollars in tooling alone, and the minimum order quantity typically starts in the hundreds and climbs into the thousands.
The digital route removes the mold from the equation entirely:
 No steel mold — artwork is printed straight onto TPU/PU transfer film.
 No screens — every plate-making step of screen printing and thermal curing is skipped.
 No baking — the film cures at ambient temperature instead of going through silicone vulcanization.
 No minimum order — single sheets and short runs come off the machine just as consistently.
 Print and press — once printed, a standard heat press bonds the label to the fabric.
That shift is what turns 3D thick labels from an industrial-only product into a short-run, personalized, fast-iterating category — arguably the most significant process change in apparel trims over the past decade.
The U2000 in brief
 Epson-licensed HD3200 industrial printheads. High-density nozzles hold steady ink delivery across the full 420 mm width; intelligent waveform control keeps tonal transitions smooth, so complex gradients and spot colors stay consistent.
 420 mm (A2) print width — 40% wider than A3. The A2 format gives artwork far more room on the sheet: a single pass carries a larger graphic or a denser multi-up layout with better material yield. Oversized thick labels that simply will not fit on A3 come off in one piece.
 CMYK + 2W + Varnish, one pass. White ink lays the base and covers dark substrates, CMYK carries the graphic, and varnish finishes it in gloss or matte. Base white, color and surface treatment all complete in a single pass, collapsing what used to be multiple plates and multiple machine runs.
 2400 DPI physical resolution. Fine type, intricate logos and surface texture all read cleanly — which matters on apparel trims, streetwear patches and sports branding.
 1.2 m²/h of steady output. This is not a figure aimed at continuous bulk production. It is matched to the short-run, personalized, high-value end of the thick label market — tens, hundreds or a few thousand pieces, produced reliably.

Who the U2000 is built for
1. Apparel trims manufacturers — from bulk to short-run customization
Thick silicone label business has traditionally been bulk-first, with slow design cycles and expensive sampling. The U2000 lets a trims producer open a short-run, personalized order stream without giving up bulk work — sampling, reorders and trial runs of a new bestseller all land sooner.
2. Streetwear and custom studios — rapid design iteration
Streetwear and sportswear brands refresh logo patches far faster than traditional apparel. A dozen new styles a season at a few dozen to a few hundred pieces each is a pace that mold-based vulcanization simply cannot follow. "Print and press" matches it by design.
3. Sports brands and team customization — schools, clubs, corporate
Team kits, school uniforms and corporate workwear are naturally short-run and personalized. The U2000 makes them orderable from a single piece, so no enquiry has to be turned away because of a minimum order quantity.
What the finished label delivers
 3D relief — thickness is controllable from micro-raised through to high-relief.
 Surface finish — gloss or matte, selected per design.
 Color — CMYK + 2W + Varnish in one pass, so colors hold up even on dark fabric.
 Detail — complex logos, texture and type render clearly at 2400 DPI.
 Durability — after heat transfer, the label bonds firmly to the fabric and resists washing and flexing without lifting or peeling.
See it running at Booth W4-D33
Across all three show days, the Taotech technical team will be at Booth W4-D33 in Hall W4, demonstrating the complete U2000 workflow — importing the design file, laying the base white, printing color, finishing with varnish, and heat-pressing the finished label onto garment fabric. Visitors can bring their own logo files or existing samples and have a thick label printed and pressed on the spot, then assess the relief, color, adhesion and wash resistance directly.

One Printer, Six Label Finishes: Taotech Digital 8-Head UV-DTF UV Label Printer Makes Its SIGN CHINA Debut

News Summary — The 28th Shanghai International Advertising Signage & Display Exhibition (SIGN CHINA 2026) will be held from September 15–17 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Taotech Digital (Booth: Hall W4, D33) will present its all-new 8-Head UV-DTF UV Label Printer (8H-UV DTF) — powered by 8 industrial-grade Epson i3200 printheads with a top printing speed of 25 m²/h and a 600 mm (60 cm) print width. One machine supports multiple finishing processes — AB-film UV labels, spot foil effects, cold-transfer labels, thick labels, embroidery-look effects, and resin-look (dome) effects — so decorators and label producers can take on far more order types without buying additional equipment. A honeycomb widened platform and an industrial heavy-duty integrated frame keep long production runs stable. The 8H-UV DTF is built for e-commerce batch orders, custom giftware, creative merchandise, packaging decoration, and more.

What UV-DTF UV Labels Are — and Why This Printer Changes the Game
UV-DTF (UV direct-to-film) UV labeling is a cold-transfer decorating process. The design is printed onto a double-layer PET transfer film — white base ink first, then CMYK color, topped with UV gloss that cures instantly under LED UV light — before the film is laminated and the label is peeled, pressed into place, and finished. No heat press, no mold, no plate-making. It is a decorating route of its own, separate from DTF garment transfers, UV direct printing, and heat-transfer label systems.
Where most UV label printers are built for one thing — drinkware decals — the Taotech 8H-UV DTF is designed as a multi-process platform. By combining printhead configuration with its ink-and-gloss system, one machine can switch between several different surface-finishing effects:
For label producers and e-commerce sellers, the payoff is simple: no need to buy a separate machine for every effect. One 8H-UV DTF handles work that once required several machines and multiple production steps — cutting both equipment investment and floor space.
8 × Epson i3200 + 25 m²/h: Speed That Keeps Up with Online Orders
The 8H-UV DTF is built around eight industrial-grade Epson i3200 printheads — a high-end configuration in the UV-DTF category. The eight heads work in parallel across white, color, and gloss channels, and with the LED UV curing system the machine runs printing, curing, laminating, and rewinding as one continuous workflow.
Key specs at a glance:
 Printing speed: up to 25 m²/h
 Printheads: 8 × Epson i3200 industrial-grade
 Print width:600 mm / 60 cm
 Curing: LED UV, instant on-press curing
 Workflow: integrated dual-lamination (AB-film) line — print, laminate, collect in one pass
What does 25 m²/h actually mean for a UV label shop? UV labels are produced sheet by sheet — a single A3/A4 sheet of film usually carries several individual decals laid out together. At 25 m²/h across a 600 mm width, the machine keeps up with medium-batch e-commerce runs: drinkware decals, gift-box logos, sticker sheets, and other multi-SKU jobs in the hundreds-to-thousands range can be finished on one machine without shuttling work between different processes.

Honeycomb Platform + Heavy-Duty Frame: Built for All-Day Production
The 8H-UV DTF features a honeycomb widened platform and an industrial heavy-duty integrated frame.
The honeycomb platform provides even vacuum hold-down and a flat, stable surface — keeping the PET film flat during printing and reducing the wrinkles, lifting, and head strikes that cause misregistration and wasted sheets. The heavy-duty frame gives high-speed printing a stable mechanical base, minimizing vibration and drift during long shifts.
For peak e-commerce seasons, pre-exhibition stocking, and large batch orders — times when the machine simply has to keep running — this mechanical foundation is what turns rated speed into real daily output.
Who Should Look at the 8H-UV DTF
The combination of multi-process flexibility and high output makes the 8H-UV DTF a fit for several business models:
1. E-commerce sellers & print-on-demand businesses
Multi-SKU, small-batch, fast reorders are the norm online. The 8H-UV DTF prints from a single piece, needs no molds, and at 25 m²/h can cover "order today, ship tomorrow" quick-turn jobs.
2. Giftware & drinkware customization shops
Insulated tumblers, travel mugs, glass bottles, and cosmetic containers are the most mature UV-DTF UV label market. AB-film UV labels offer the abrasion-, scratch-, and water-resistance that everyday use demands.
3. Creative merchandise & IP derivative studios
Embroidery-look effects, resin-look domes, and spot foil give cultural merchandise, museum-store products, and character-branded goods real visual lift — effects that once required multiple production steps can now be switched on one machine.
4. Packaging & label decorators
Gift-box seals, cosmetic bottle labels, electronics logos, and shaped packaging decals — UV-DTF cold transfer conforms to hard and slightly curved packaging surfaces, and the no-heat application is friendly to heat-sensitive materials.
5. Apparel accessory suppliers & small-batch streetwear brands
Thick-label and embroidery-look effects can replace some conventional silicone or embroidered labels for streetwear decoration, bag tags, and sports accessories — sampling in small batches without mold fees and at near-zero revision cost.
Meet the 8H-UV DTF in Person — Hall W4, Booth D33, September 15–17
Taotech Digital will demonstrate the 8H-UV DTF's full production process live at SIGN CHINA 2026. Gear Up for Peak Season: Taotech Digital Invites You to SIGN CHINA 2026
See the Machines Running Live · Shanghai New International Expo Centre · September 15-17, 2026 · Booth W4-D33
Anyone in the advertising and printing business knows: the September-October peak season is not a figure of speech on a calendar — it is a very real wave of orders.
Once the second-half rush begins, orders for Christmas, New Year goods, and spring product launches all come flooding in at once. Long-standing clients are chasing deliveries, while new clients walk in with big orders.
The worst part is not having no orders — it is having orders your machines cannot keep up with. A DTF printer that runs too slow, a UV label line with too little capacity, a UV printer that cannot handle specialty substrates — and you can only watch those orders slip away to your competitors.
Right before the peak season is the last window for equipment upgrades. On September 15, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (Booth W4-D33), Taotech Digital is bringing all five of its flagship machines to the show floor — running live, ready for you to gear up for peak production in one visit.
01 / 8-Head UV Label Printer: Peak-Season Debut, the Anchor New Model
The brand-new model Taotech Digital is launching in the second half of the year makes its first public appearance at this show, right at the start of peak season. Upgraded and iterated from our proven 6-head UV label platform, it prints faster and delivers higher throughput — purpose-built for high-volume UV label production.
High capacity for the peak season, planned ahead of time. Full specifications will be announced soon. Come to our booth and be among the first to see it.
02 / 6-Head White Ink DTF Printer: 240 m² a Day — The Output of 3 Dual-Head Machines
With 6 Epson i3200 industrial printheads, a 600 mm print width, and 30 m²/h in 4-pass mode, it delivers over 240 m² per 8-hour shift — 3 to 5 times the output of a typical dual-head machine. When other machines buckle under round-the-clock, two-shift peak-season workloads, this one keeps going.
Paired with the automatic powder recycling and dusting unit built on Taotech's patented auto powder-return technology: fill once, recycle continuously. An extended drying tunnel with upper/lower dual-layer drying and a built-in fume purifier keeps the workshop clean and cuts labor — even at full capacity.
T-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, school uniforms and workwear — vivid colors even on dark fabrics. No plate making required: load the artwork and print.
03 / 6090 Industrial UV Flatbed Printer: Messy Mix of Peak-Season Orders? One Machine Takes It All
A large 60×90 cm platform with media thickness up to 200 mm. With 3.5-pl droplets and 5760 dpi resolution, it prints photo-grade quality directly onto glass, metal, acrylic, leather, wood, ceramics and more than 60 other materials.
Peak-season orders come in every material imaginable — phone cases, trophies, wood panels, signage: whatever you bring, it prints.
LED UV curing dries instantly — print it, ship it. CMYK + White + Varnish in a single pass, with embossed and spot-varnish effects available. No plate making, and a minimum order of just one piece.

04 / A2 Thick Label Printer: No Molds, Small Batches, High Margins — Your Peak-Season Profit Maker
Powered by an Epson-licensed industrial printhead with a 420 mm print width, it forms complex textures, custom logos, and gloss or matte finishes in a single pass.
The core advantage: no mold making, zero waste, print-and-press — doing away with the mold costs and baking steps of traditional silicone labels. Labels bond with a simple heat press, resist washing and bending, show a visible 3D relief effect, and come in any thickness you specify.
Designed for small-batch, personalized, high-value custom thick label work — the cost-effective choice for taking on high-margin small orders during peak season.

05 / 60E4 Dual-Laminate UV Label Printer: Two Solutions in One, No Downtime All Season
Supporting both roll-fed direct-adhesive and AB-film workflows, it features Taotech's self-developed patented AB-film hot-foil UV label one-piece forming technology — printing, laminating, hot-foiling and rewinding, fully automatic in one line.
Easy to operate, no plate making, no waste removal. High gloss and abrasion resistant. From single-piece custom orders to bulk production, it handles both — big orders and small, all in one net.
Our Own Workshop Runs Two Shifts a Day, 1,000+ m² Daily Output
Taotech Digital is not just the equipment manufacturer — we run our own UV label processing operation. When peak season hits, we know it first.
A 10,000 m² standardized production facility, with a dedicated UV label workshop in stable operation for over three years, producing more than 1,000 m² a day on two continuous shifts.
Every model we launch is first run, tested and refined on our own production lines before it goes to market. In peak season, what matters is durability — not good-looking spec sheets.

Back-to-School Season 2026: Why the 6-Head DTF Printer Is the Smartest Production Investment for Apparel BusinessesSumma...

Back-to-School Season 2026: Why the 6-Head DTF Printer Is the Smartest Production Investment for Apparel Businesses
Summary:Back-to-school spending is projected to reach a record$146.8 billion in 2026, with the clothing share driving unprecedented demand for custom team apparel, school spirit wear, and personalized garments. For apparel businesses, this seasonal rush presents a massive opportunity — but only if you have the production capacity to meet tight deadlines. The 6-head DTF printer, delivering 30m²/h with six Epson i3200 printheads, is the machine that turns this seasonal spike into sustainable growth.
1. The $146.8 Billion Opportunity: Why Back-to-School Season Matters
The numbers are staggering. The National Retail Federation expects K-12 families to spend$43.3 billion this back-to-school season, while college spending is forecast at$103.5 billion— the first time it has crossed the $100 billion mark. Together, the two seasons reach$146.8 billion, up from $128.2 billion in 2025.
Clothing is a major piece of this spending. Average K-12 spending on clothing and accessories is$250.29 per family, totaling approximately$12.5 billion.
But here's what really matters for apparel businesses:62% of shoppers had already started by the first week of July. The back-to-school purchasing window, which spans from late July through September, requires rapid order turnaround and precise color replication to meet strict athletic schedules and academic orientation deadlines.
The buyers driving this demand are rarely big athletic departments. They are parent volunteers, coaches, and small program directors ordering a few dozen shirts — not a few thousand. A team mom needs 30 hoodies in three sizes, not a pallet of 500. Small-to-medium apparel businesses require flexible manufacturing methods that eliminate setup fees, minimize waste, and support on-demand order fulfillment.
This is the gap that DTF technology fills — and the 6-head DTF printer is the tool that fills it at scale.
2. The 6-Head DTF Printer: Built for Back-to-School Production Demands
The Taotech Digital 60E6-TH 6-Head DTF Printeris engineered specifically for the production demands of peak seasons like back-to-school.
Speed Is Capacity
Equipped with six Epson i3200 industrial printheads(2 Color + 2 White + 2 Spot Color) and a600mm print width, the 60E6-TH delivers an exceptional 30m²/h in 4pass mode. That translates to over 240m² per 8-hour shift— enough to fulfill hundreds of garment orders daily.
In the back-to-school rush, when every hour counts, this speed means you can take on more orders, meet tighter deadlines, and scale your production without adding labor.
Stability Is Efficiency
The machine features an industrial heavy-duty integrated frame— the base and crossbeam are machined as one piece, ensuring rock-solid stability even at high speeds. The honeycomb widened platform keeps materials flat without warping.
The 200-meter roll feeding system allows for 6-7 hours of continuous operation without reloading, dramatically reducing downtime during peak production.
Smart Maintenance, Less Downtime
Withautomatic printhead cleaning and moisturizing, the 60E6-TH minimizes the maintenance burden — critical when you're running the machine around the clock to meet back-to-school deadlines.
3. Why Epson i3200 Printheads Make the Difference
The Epson i3200 is widely recognized as the current-generation printhead that offers the best balance of resolution, droplet control, and longevity in the DTF white-ink environment.
Key advantages:
• 40-50 kHz firing frequency— more than double the speed of entry-level heads
• 3.5 pl minimum droplet size— achieving 1440 dpi+ precision
• 3-5 year service life— three to five times longer than consumer-grade heads
• Mature droplet control with broad RIP software support
For back-to-school production, where designs range from retro varsity lettering and mascot stickers to personalized rosters and faux patch effects, the i3200 delivers the color accuracy and detailthat school organizations and athletic departments demand.
4. The DTF Advantage Over Traditional Methods
Historically, educational institutions and local athletic leagues relied heavily on traditional screen printing or vinyl plotters.
While screen printing remains cost-effective for runs exceeding hundreds of identical garments, it presents significant challenges for smaller batch sizes, multi-color logos, or personalized spirit apparel. The preparation of physical screens, color separation, and extensive setup times create bottlenecks during peak seasonal demand.
Cut-vinyl methods, while suitable for low quantities, require labor-intensive manual weeding that limits production throughput and restricts multi-color designs.
DTF eliminates these barriers entirely:
• No screens, no setup fees— print what you need, when you need it
• Full-color, gradient, and intricate designs— impossible with traditional methods
• One-piece minimums— perfect for small-batch team orders
• Rapid turnaround— meet tight back-to-school deadlines
5. Complete Production System: Printer + Automatic Powder Shaker
The 60E6-TH is paired with afully automatic powder shaker featuring Taotech Digital'spatented automatic powder recycling technology(Patent No.: 202022079915X).
Key advantages:
• Single fill, continuous circulation— powder utilization rate of 95%
• Extended oven design(1.14m) — supports high-speed printing with thorough drying
• Bottom-heating function— reduces oil-back issues for more uniform drying
• Smart touch screen— simple, visual operation
• Designed to fit standard door frames— easy entry and transportation
This integrated system means you're not just buying a printer — you're getting a complete production line that's ready to run from day one.

8. Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What's the difference between the 60E6-TH 6-head DTF printer and a standard DTF printer?
A: Standard DTF printers typically have 2-4 printheads and deliver 5-15m²/h. The 60E6-TH features 6 printheads (2 Color + 2 White + 2 Spot Color) and delivers30m²/h— 2-6 times faster. It's designed for businesses that have outgrown entry-level equipment.
Q2: What materials can DTF print on?
A: DTF works on cotton, polyester, nylon, cotton-poly blends, leather, neoprene, PVC, EVA, and more. It's one of the most fabric-compatible digital printing methods available.
Q3: Is the 60E6-TH difficult to operate?
A: No. Despite its industrial capabilities, the machine features automatic cleaning, moisturizing, and powder recycling — making it accessible for trained operators. The integrated system reduces the complexity of managing separate components.
Q4: Can I print small batches with a 6-head machine?
A: Absolutely. DTF technology inherently supportsprint-on-demand from a single piece. The 6-head machine gives you the flexibility to handle both small custom orders and large-volume production runs.
Q5: What's the daily output capacity?
A: At 30m²/h, an 8-hour shift yields over 240m²of transfers — enough to fulfill hundreds of garment orders daily.
Q6: How does the 60E6-TH compare to screen printing for team orders?
A: Screen printing requires screens, setup fees, and minimum orders. The 60E6-TH hasno setup fees, no minimums, and can produce full-color designs that would require multiple screens. For the small-to-medium team orders typical of back-to-school season, DTF is faster and more cost-effective.
Q7: What warranty and support are provided?
A: Taotech Digital provides a1-year whole-machine warranty and comprehensive pre-sales and after-sales support, with a global service network covering over 100 countries.
