The No. 10 film in the global box office is also an animated film, the well-known โThe Lion Kingโ. The gap between โ๐๐ ๐๐ก๐ ๐โ and this movie is currently nearly 287 million yuan, but it is expected to catch up soon.
"Ne Zha 2" was officially released in North America on Feb. 14, with advance ticket sales and movie schedules setting new records for Chinese-language films in North America over the past 20 years, and some theaters even added midnight shows to meet audience demand.
Audiences who saw "Ne Zha 2" on the same day generally praised the movie's overall animation effects and production level, and some American audiences believed that "Ne Zha 2" gave them a new understanding of Chinese mythology and the cultural values it contains.
"Ne Zha 2" was released in 770 theaters in more than 400 cities in 48 states in the U.S. and 42 cities in 10 provinces in Canada.
In Oceania, โNe Zha 2โ was officially released on February 13th in 124 theaters, setting a record for Chinese-language films in the past 20 years.
