ShanghaiPRIDE is an annual festival of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people in China. It brings together this diverse community to support and stand up for our rights. Established in 2008, we provide a platform for exhibiting Chinese and World queer films. In 2015 we are opening our shorts programme to filmmakers from around the globe. Films dealing with Chinese queer/tongzhi subjects in the areas of fiction, documentary or experimental are eligible for consideration. One winning film will be sent to our partner festival, Iris Prize (UK) for the chance to win £30,000
