Boasting a vast selection of luxury hotels, amazing resorts and boutique hotels, amongst some of the world’s finest; Asia is at the forefront of international travel. Maintaining this image requires a precise ex*****on from a team of passionate professionals. It is the employees at the hotel, which make the guest experience remarkable and memorable. A hotel’s brilliance is not just attributed to a luxurious interior; peel back the lavish fixtures and fittings, and a group of people stand before you. It is these individuals who breathe life into a hotel. The Hotelier Awards is the only accolade in Asia, which honours the dedicated professionals of the hotel industry. The annual rendezvous is an overdue recognition bestowed upon those individuals, who are the best in their field. It is also an opportunity to celebrate with their peers. The first Hotelier Awards ceremony was held in December 2014 at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong. The second edition was hosted on December 10th 2015 at Four Seasons Beijing, with more than 300 guests attending. Open to any property in Greater China (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) and in the ASEAN region, these high calibre entrants will be carefully judged and examined by a panel of experts who, between them, hold a wide plethora of industry specific skills and knowledge. Each judge is hand-selected due to their deep comprehension and appreciation of the complexities involved with managing a successful hotel. The judge panel consists of representatives from Forbes Travel Guide, International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), Les Roches, Edipresse Media Asia & The China National Hotel Association. Applications will be scrutinized and an unbiased decision will be made based upon each individual’s merit. The Hotelier Awards is a celebration of brilliance – the pinnacle appreciation of the people bringing life to a hotel.
