🚨Breaking: Two Ships Collide and Lose Control – Emergency Traffic Control in Singapore Strait

On May 20th, a collision occurred between two Capesize bulk carriers in the Singapore Strait.

The "Cape XL" and "Huge Kumano" collided violently at the junction between the anchorage and the main channel. Both vessels lost control and drifted. The waterway was placed under emergency traffic control for two hours, and surrounding vessels experienced delays of over four hours.

No casualties or fuel oil leaks have been reported so far. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Hundreds of vessels pass through this area daily, and the accident site is a high-risk meeting zone.
