The cold bed equipment in the aluminum extrusion production line is the core link of the post-processing system for extrusion, mainly responsible for key tasks such as cooling, conveying, sorting, straightening, and cutting to length of aluminum profiles after high-temperature extrusion molding. It directly affects the dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and mechanical properties of the profiles. Its specific applications are as follows:
1、 Production line positioning and synergy
The cooling bed is located between the outlet of the extruder and the aging furnace, and is linked with the traction machine, online quenching system (air-cooled/mist cooled), and sawing equipment to form a complete rear processing line.
Connection function: Receive high-temperature profiles (about 400-500 ℃) output by the extruder and transition to the cooling station through the conveying system.
Rhythm coordination: The design of the material storage platform can buffer the speed difference between the front and rear processes, ensuring production continuity.
2、 Core application scenarios
Efficient cooling
Using natural air cooling or forced cooling (such as fan arrays) to quickly and uniformly reduce the temperature of the profile, avoid deformation, and improve subsequent straightening effects.
The cooling table is equipped with a high-temperature resistant conveyor belt (such as felt ring belt, resistant to 480 ℃), which synchronously achieves transmission and heat dissipation.
Flexible conveying and sorting
The multi-stage roller/belt system smoothly transfers profiles and automatically distributes them to different processing paths according to specifications.
Anti scratch design (such as felt rollers, synchronous belts) maximizes the protection of the surface smoothness of the profile.
Integrated straightening and sawing
The straightening machine eliminates extrusion bending deformation and ensures that the straightness of the profile meets the standard.
