Kiki and Yu in the house! 🎶✨
Kiki House（木木之家）is coming to Swingtime Ball 2025!

As one of China’s leading West African Manding music studios, Kiki & Yu are dedicated to sharing a deeper and more diverse understanding of West African culture.

💃 Yu began her journey into Manding music in 2015, studying in Guinea, the US, Japan and beyond. With instinctive passion and sensitivity, she brings every performance to life and inspires dancers to connect with rhythm through the body.

🥁 Kiki has over 13 years of experience with Manding music. A pioneer in the field, he has studied with masters worldwide. While rooted in tradition, he’s also exploring new ways to bring Manding music to the stage.

Beloved teachers and old friends Elice & Sakarias are joining us! 🥳

Sakarias fell in love with jitterbug contests and music as a kid, and by 16 he was already training with The Rhythm Hot Shots (now The Hot Shots).

Since then, he’s travelled the world teaching and performing at events like Frankie 100, Basie Centennial, and Sweden’s Got Talent — always inspired by Harlem’s original Lindy Hoppers and today’s dancers. He’s also the drummer for Hornsgatan Ramblers. 🥁

Elice discovered Lindy Hop at 24 after years as a gymnast and modern dancer. Instantly hooked by its acrobatics, history, and freedom of expression, she’s now performing worldwide with The Hot Shots — bringing her incredible energy and style to every floor she steps on. ✨

❤️ Can’t wait to share the joy of dancing with them again in Beijing!

Guess who’s back at STB2025? 🥳 Our amazing friends Lizette & Patrik!

✨ Lizette started dancing at just 9 years old and has been a core member of The Hot Shots since 2017.

She travels the world performing and teaching Lindy Hop and other swing-era dances. Her focus on rhythm 🎶 and personal style makes her dancing (and teaching!) both inspiring and unforgettable.

🔥 Patrik joined The Hot Shots in 2016 and is all about Lindy Hop, Charleston & vernacular jazz, bringing faithful swing-era traditions to life on stage.

Touring and teaching worldwide, he shares the group’s mission of preserving historic African-American dance forms with passion and authenticity.

We can’t wait to learn, dance & party with them in Beijing this fall🤩
