“青年艺术100”创始于2011年，是以挖掘和推荐青年艺术家为己任的高端平台，自创建之日起始终以青年艺术家为服务核心。该项目以专家提名、艺术家自荐、艺术家互荐、展览发现为渠道，以艺术委员会公开评议、甄选、确定最终入围名单为途径，以年度性的海内外巡展等艺术活动为载体，以建立专业化、规模化、多渠道的推广机制为目标，努力为青年艺术家提供一个能够实现艺术梦想的高端平台，进而营造一个丰富多元、充满活力的当代青年艺术生态。

目前已经成长为集艺术展览、海外拓展、艺术教育、艺术跨界、艺术出版、艺术电商于一体的青年艺术家的综合性推广平台。
