Parallel zum .luzern läuft heute im Bourbaki Popup die Ausstellung mit dem Fotografieprojekt „Prypjat. Eine Zeitmaschine“ von Oleksandr Syrota.

Am Abend geht es im Stattkino Luzern weiter mit Diskussionen, Filmvorführungen und Q&As rund um Architektur und Baukultur.

We’re excited to introduce one of this year’s participants:
Torsten Skoetz Torsten Skoetz  Hybrid Architectures | AI-generated

Where does architecture begin—and where does it dissolve?
Torsten Skoetz explores spaces in between: between biology, culture, and technology.
Inspired by corals, fluid systems, and hybrid organisms, his work moves beyond traditional forms—towards organic, modular, ever-changing structures.
Layering cultural influences from different regions, he creates new spatial languages that challenge fixed identities and imagine cities as dynamic, evolving systems.

✨ At the ARCH Market, he presents a selection of his latest works.

ARCH Market Lucerne – April 19

As part of the Architecture Festival Lucerne, we continue introducing the participants.

Today:

Amt für Unmögliches
Tanja Schüpbach & Felix Schultz (HSLU DFK, Master Design)

What if there was an office dedicated to making the impossible possible?

In their research, Tanja Schüpbach and Felix Schultz explore how new forms of infrastructure could empower citizens to actively shape their environment. Using the municipality of Emmen as a case study, they address challenges such as low civic participation, lack of shared spaces, and weak local identity.

At the ARCH Market, they present their ongoing work — and invite visitors to become part of it.

Workshop: Amt für Unmögliches
Together, participants will reflect on the potential of civic action and co-create the concept of an “Office for the Impossible” — a structure that supports people in realizing their own ideas.

HEARTBRUT explores the sweet spot between brutalism, art and experience, offering new visual formats, publications, special editions, expert insight and curated walks & rides. We believe in together is better. Our fresh take and explorative formats reach a broad international community. HEARTBRUT was founded in 2019 by writer and photographer Karin Bürki.

WORKSHOP
Let’s make brutalism unhatable!

Concrete monstrosities, eyesores? Time to retire the stereotypes and unlearn the dated clichés! In this workshop, Karin Bürki, head of HEARTBRUT, will give you a brief and fun introduction to brutalism, introduces the 10 most important icons in Switzerland and explains why raw concrete architecture is part of our cultural heritage. Any questions? Ask them during the Q&A!
