Hello Ramen fans! The weather is gradually heating up and we will have our last Ramen class (for this season) next week. We understand why you might be tempted to reach for something that will cool you down, but we have great news for those who miss the delicious taste of ramen when it is too hot to enjoy it. We want to introduce you to Hiyashi Chuka (Cold Ramen), one of the most popular summer noodle dishes in Japan! It's made with ramen style noodles served in a cold, refreshing sauce. Live cooking demonstration at yesterday. I invited one of the guests to experience the authentic and traditional method to prepare the sauce for Gado-Gado. We used a cobek (pestle) and ulekan (flat rounded stone, mortar).
