Kaupo has been a close personal friend of our Co-Artistic Director Wilson Hermanto since more than 15 years. In addition, Kaupo is the official photographer since the beginning. Hundreds of his photos taken between 2021 - 2026 in relation to our activities are uploaded in our website.

Beethoven “Ghost” Trio 👻

On Saturday August 29th at 19:00 we begin the 2026-27 season “Les Accords Parfaits” musical soirées in exclusive partnership with the Royal Savoy Lausanne

This time Daniel Müller-Schott Official Site will be joined by 2 outstanding young colleagues: violinist Hana Chang and pianist Paul Lecocq Musicaglotz

Hana has been a part of musical family since 2022 as well as a recipient of the Borletti-Buitoni Trust and BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme 2024-26.

Paul, at the age of 20, won the coveted Clara Haskil Prix in the 2025 Clara Haskil Piano Competition-Vevey. He will take part in our 2027 festival in May next year.

Pau Casals and Vevey……our 2027 festival will be filled with many links between the great Catalan musician and beloved Vevey.

Casals, one of the greatest cellists of all time and humanist was personal friends to other legends associated with the history of Vevey and Lavaux region such as Clara Haskil, Charlie Chaplin, Oskar Kokoschka, Bronisław Huberman and Paul Hindemith.

As a multi talented musician, Casals was also a conductor, composer and teacher.

Among the repertoire Casals conducted in his life time was Schumann Concerto which he performed together with his friend Gregor Piatigorsky as the soloist.

As a tribute to Casals, you will have the opportunity to hear Schumann Cello Concerto in the closing concert of 2027 edition with Daniel Müller-Schott Official Site, Prague Philharmonia under the direction of Wilson Hermanto.

Our festival 6th edition will take place between May 17th - 26th 2027 with the focus of celebrating 2 birthdays:

Pablo Casals 150 & Daniel Müller-Schott 50 🤩

The former was born at the very end of 1876, exactly on December 29th while the later was born a century later on November 2nd.

Casals was not only one of the greatest cellists and celebrated musicians of all time but also a great humanist. He was simply a larger than life personality and a close friend of legends associated with the history of Vevey such as Clara Haskil, Oskar Kokoschka, Charlie Chaplin

Specially in our 2027 festival, it is a fitting occasion to celebrate Casals and Müller-Schott anniversaries with storytelling programs, linking the glory of the art of cello playing past and present, as well as show casing a few cornerstone repertoire which Casals performed as a conductor.

The facts that both Casals and Müller-Schott were born almost at the end of the calendar year, it is our intention to celebrate their anniversaries connected to the 2027 festival.

Together with our close artistic partner Musée Jenisch Vevey, we will announce exciting news in the coming months in regard to the focus of Casals & Müller-Schott celebration….STAY TUNED!

"What creates echoes and resonances in our early childhood? Is it the first sound our mother whispers to us? Is it the sound of tones that deeply touches us? In my life, it is the sound of Baroque music on my mother's harpsichord that repeatedly calls forth childhood memories. The power of music itself can transport us back to this early phase of life. The sonatas on this recording are a sonic testament, played on the very same harpsichord I experienced with my mother in my youth. These sounds mean a great deal to me. And so it is with this music - it celebrates life while simultaneously acknowledging the transience of every moment. It evokes moments of gratitude, innocent joy, tears born of pure intuition. A kind of inner homecoming to a peaceful place of childhood in our often so noisy world"

The formidable pianist Alexei Volodin comes to Lausanne to perform in our "Les Accords Parfaits" musical soireés, in exclusive partnership with the Royal Savoy Lausanne , on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 19:00

Alexei will be performing works by Chopin: Nocturne op. 15 no. 2, Barcarolle op. 60, Waltz op. 64 no. 2, Ballade No. 3

as well as works for four-hands piano by Schubert, Mendelssohn and Rachmaninov, together with his wife, Edith Peña and the talented young Swiss pianist Naïma Pffifer.

Since winning the 1st prize of Concours Géza Anda Zürich in 2003, Alexei has established an impressive international career, performing as soloist with major orchestras around the world such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra , Orchestre symphonique de Montréal - OSM , Philharmonia Orchestra , Orchestre de la Suisse Romande , NHK 交響楽団 NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo and many others.
