Les émotions encore à fleur de peau, athlètes, staff, organisateurs, bénévoles et tous les amoureux de ce sport splendide ont la larme à l'oeil à l'heure de clore cet événement qui fut grandiose. La larme de bonheur qui vient sertir de sa teinte déjà nostalgique et à jamais merveilleuse cette étape de Coupe du Monde qui a pourtant donné du fil à retordre à son comité: les conditions difficiles ont poussé en effet les techniciens des courses à rivaliser d'ingéniosité, de persévérance et de maîtrise pour offrir des parcours à la hauteur des attentes. Une Vertical tempétueuse du côté des Ruinettes et une Individual magique sur la Pasay ont comblé les athlètes qui ont tout donné sur les tracés supervisés par l'omniprésent Pierre-Marie Taramarcaz et les fans de ce sport exigeant, complet et captivant. Les étoiles dans les yeux et la beauté dans le coeur, tous garderont un souvenir palpitant et précieux de ces épreuves réussies à Verbier Val de Bagnes.
BRAVO à tous les bénévoles qui ont oeuvré sans relâche et qui anticipent avec brio les besoins des organisateurs, toujours à l'affût et disponibles, contribution indispensable au bon fonctionnement de ce type d'événement. BRAVO aux organisateurs dont le savoir-faire n'a de cesse de se bonifier et n'est plus à prouver. BRAVO aux médias, tous avenants et dont le maître-mot fut la collaboration afin de relayer les prouesses de nos athlètes. BRAVO enfin à tous ceux qui contribuent à leur façon et dans chaque nation à porter haut les couleurs du ski alpinisme.
The emotions still on edge, athletes, staff, organizers, volunteers and all lovers of this splendid sport have tears in their eyes at the time of closing this event which was grandiose. The tear of happiness which comes to crimp with its already nostalgic and forever marvelous color this World Cup stage which nevertheless gave a hard time to its committee: the difficult conditions indeed pushed the technicians of the races to compete with ingenuity , perseverance and mastery to offer courses that meet expectations. A stormy Vertical on the Ruinettes side and a magical Individual on the Pasay thrilled the athletes who gave everything on the tracks supervised by the ubiquitous Pierre-Marie Taramarcaz and the fans of this demanding, complete and capricious sport. The stars in the eyes and beauty in the heart, all will keep a thrilling and precious memory of these successful events in Verbier Val de Bagnes.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the volunteers who worked tirelessly and who brilliantly anticipate the needs of the organizers, always on the lookout and available, an essential contribution to the proper functioning of this type of event.
