Metal Scar - Festival Das Metal Scar ist ein speziell ausgerichtetes Festival, das sich für Newcomer Bands einsetzt und ihnen eine Gelegenheit gibt, ihre Musik zu präsentieren.

Wir sind ein junges Team mit Leidenschaft für Metal, das sich einsetzt, Newcomer Bands eine Möglichkeit für einen Auftritt an einem Festival zu geben. Wir engagieren uns alle freiwillig und mit viel Leidenschaft für das Festival, das sich jedes Jahr weiterentwickeln soll. Bio: Das Metal Scar Festival fand am 18.10.14 das erste mal im Sedel in Luzern statt

unter dem Namen Birthday Bash. Da es als einmaliges Konzert für den 20.Geburtstag von Dave gedacht war. Nachdem Konzert waren die Rückmeldungen jedoch so positiv das Dave sich dafür entschied es jedes Jahr zu wiederholen, so entstand das Metal Scar. Zwischen Mitte 2015 und anfangs 2016 suchte man ein passendes Team. Ab dem 18.01.16 war das Team dann Komplet. Seit dem arbeiten wir daran das Festival jedes Jahr weiter zu entwickeln, grösser zu werden aber trotzdem das Ziel Newcomer Bands zu unterstützen nicht aus den Augen zu verlieren. English Version:
We are a young team with a passion for metal. We care about giving newcomer bands an opportunity to play at a festival. All of us are working as volunteers and with a high passion and enthusiasm for the festival. Our goal is to let grow the festival each year. The Metal Scar festival took place for the first time in Lucerne at the 18th October 2014. It had the name Birthday Bash as it was planned as a single concert for the 20th birthday of Dave. But the festival was a success and the feedback was so encouraging that Dave decided to hold this festival each year. This is how Metal Scar came to life. Between mid-2015 and beginning of 2016 he was looking for a team that would share his passion. On the 18th January 2016 the team had formed itself with many young enthusiastic people. Since then we work to develop the festival to become better and bigger each year but nevertheless to keep our original goal of giving the newcomer bands the opportunity to play.

Leider wird das Metal Scar Festival eine etwas längere Pause einlegen. Das liegt weder an dem Coronavirus noch am fehlenden Geld.
Wie ihr wisst sind wir ein sehr junges Team und wir haben zur Zeit alle etwas andere Prioritäten und Träume, die wir verwirklichen wollen und da können wir nicht die notwendige Zeit aufbringen die das Festival mit sich bringt.
Präsident Dave ist jedoch fester Überzeugung das Festival in ein paar Jahren weiter führen zu wollen. Für das erste war es dies jedoch mit dem Metal Scar Festival, es wird leider auch keine kleinere Konzerte mehr geben.

Unfortunately the Metal Scar Festival will have to take a longer break. The reason is neither the Coronavirus nor the lack of money. As you know we are a very young team and right now we all have different priorities and dreams that we want to realize. Therefore we don‘t have the nessecary time to organize a whole festival.
President Dave is yet convinced they will continue with the festival in a few years. But for now there is no festival and also no small concerts anymore.

Next month is your last chance to see Toxic Waltz live on stage. It's their last concert in Switzerland, so don't miss it!
Of course we have some amazing bands to support their last concert. Like the Thrash Maniacs from Italy Ultra-Violence, and of course some killer local supporter such as freakings, Mortal Factor, and Axxelerator.
So be there on the 14th December at Sedel, Luzern.

Wir engagieren uns alle freiwillig und mit viel Leidenschaft für das Festival, das sich jedes Jahr weiterentwickeln soll. Das Festival liegt in der Mitte der Schweiz zwischen den Schweizer Alpen und Seen. Die Aussicht sieht aus wie auf einer Postkarte. Dies ist besonders für ausländische Bands ein Highlight! Bio: Das Metal Scar Festival fand am 18.10.2014 das erste Mal im Sedel in Luzern statt unter dem Namen Birthday Bash, da es als einmaliges Konzert für den 20.Geburtstag von Dave gedacht war. Nachdem Konzert waren die Rückmeldungen jedoch so positiv, dass Dave sich dafür entschied es jedes Jahr zu wiederholen und so entstand das Metal Scar. Wegen Platzmangel findet das Metal Scar Festival seit 2017 im Mattlisaal in Sachseln statt. Der Mattlisaal ist ein Saal in einer Schule welche die Organisatoren des Festivals früher besuchten. Seit dem Einzug in den Mattlisaal hat sich das Metal Scar Festival an die Spitze der Zentralschweizer Metal Festival erarbeitet. English Version: Metal Scar Festival - The biggest Rock & Metal Festival in Central Switzerland! We are a young team with a passion for metal who is committed to giving newcomer bands a chance to perform at a festival. We all volunteer and are passionate about the festival, which is set to evolve every year.

The festival is located in the middle of Switzerland between the Swiss Alps and lakes. The view looks like a postcard. This is a highlight especially for foreign bands!

Bio: The Metal Scar Festival was held for the first time at the Sedel in Lucerne on 18.10.2014 under the name Birthday Bash, because it was intended as a one-time concert for Dave's 20th birthday. After the concert, however, the feedback was so positive that Dave decided to repeat it every year and that's how Metal Scar started. Due to lack of space, the Metal Scar Festival has been taking place since 2017 in the Mattlisaal in Sachseln. The Mattlisaal is a hall in a school which the organizers of the festival used to visit when they were kids. Since moving into the Mattlisaal, the Metal Scar Festival has come to the top of the Central Swiss Metal Festival.
