🌟 Kids Day: Where Future Champions Are Born! 🌟

You thought we were done! But no! There's more!! 🎉
On the 5th and final day of the Dupaski Festival, we shifted our focus to the true essence of the sport - the popular aspect that nurtures tomorrow's stars! 🌟

During our Kids Day, we held a special workshop that was free and open to anybody eager to try cross-country skiing. 🎿💨 With the guidance of our amazing stars such as Johanna Hagström, Vebjørn Moen, Hedda Bångman, Thomas Joly, Jeremy Royer,
Sabin Coupat, Øyvind Haugan, Mattis Basille and Elyne Moser, the young participants received invaluable lessons from these legends. We can't thank them enough for their generosity and support.

The smiles, the laughter, and the joy shared during this event perfectly captured the true value of cross-country skiing - a sport that unites people and brings communities together! 🤗💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on this incredible journey. Your enthusiasm and dedication have made the Dupaski Festival a resounding success. We look forward to creating more unforgettable moments in the years to come! 🌠

📖 Chapter 4: PORSEL CRITERIUM 🏁

And for the queen stage of this year's festival we held a distance race in classical style where participants did a challenging 12km loop.📈📉
Those who participated last year were familiar with the event, the novelty of this year being however that we were lucky to get enough Nordeex rollerskis to allow for a massstart and have all participants compete at the same time!
The men did 4 laps 🦾, the women and juniors men 3 💪, junior women 2 laps🏃‍♀️, and the youngest 1 lap🏃‍♀️.
After the race, we celebrated the events of the last few days over a "Casino Royale" themed banquet♠️♥️♣️♦️🃏

We further had the prize giving ceremony of all the events during that banquet, while eating delicious cheese fondue sponsored by Le Gruyère AOP 🫕
The evening was then concluded by a disco where participants could with how much energy they had left to spend despite the challenging races of the previous days 💃🕺🪩

The race was particular because the weather started out horrible with heavy rain but as time progressed, the sun got out and participants even got to finish with a dry road and a beautiful sunny view over the countryside of the town Porsel. And on the 3rd day participants began with a course recognition of the distance loop in the morning. Later in the afternoon we saw a repetition of last year's skate sprint at the L2 Center in Romont. The surface of this amazing center is comparable to a modern day Colosseum for rollerskiing! Where skiers battled each other like viking gladiators in pretention of the victory over the "Europa-League" or even the prestigeous "Champions-League"! This IS the Showsprint Condair!!
