We are delighted to once again organize the Horizons Unlimited Travellers Meeting Switzerland in Meierskappel from August 17th to 20th, 2023! Horizons Unlimited Meetings are designed for all those who dream of adventures on the road. It doesn't matter whether you ride a motorcycle, travel by bicycle, or have an expedition vehicle...

Wir freuen uns, auch in 2023 erneut das Horizons Unlimited Travellers Meeting Switzerland vom 17. August 2023 in Meierskappel zu veranstalten! Horizons Unlimited Meetings richten sich an alle Abenteuerliebhaber, die das Verlangen verspüren, auf Straßenreisen zu gehen. Egal, ob ihr leidenschaftliche Motorradfahrer seid, mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs sein möchtet oder ein eigenes Expeditions-Fahrzeug besitzt – bei uns seid ihr genau richtig! Ob ihr erfahrene Overland-Reisende mit einer Fülle an Abenteuern seid oder als Neuling von einer solchen Reise träumt – jeder ist herzlich willkommen. "Irgendwann ist irgendwann zu spät"

Manchmal braucht es einen Moment, der alles verändert.

Nach dem Ende seiner Ehe entschied sich Armin Thalhofer für einen radikalen Neuanfang: Statt auf den richtigen Zeitpunkt zu warten, brach er zu einer Weltreise auf. Nach seiner Solo-Durchquerung Afrikas reiste er fünf Monate gemeinsam mit seinem Sohn durch Südamerika – eine Reise, die beide nachhaltig prägte.

In his inspiring presentation “A Craftsman’s Journey Around the World”, Thomas Heimberg shares the incredible story of travelling from Japan to New Zealand and across the Americas — from Tierra del Fuego all the way to Canada.

Along the way, he worked with local craftsmen, immersed himself in different cultures, faced nature at its harshest, and discovered that living simply is not always simple at all.

A story about freedom, adventure, craftsmanship, human connection and finding meaning beyond comfort zones.

In her presentation “Nepal: From the Mountains to the Jungle”, Judith shares stories from one of the world’s most fascinating motorcycle destinations: breathtaking landscapes, changing road conditions, colourful festivals and the incredible hospitality of the Nepalese people.

After first visiting Nepal in 2019, she fell in love with the country — and has returned many times since, now also guiding motorcycle tours there.

Originally from Vancouver and now based in Zürich, Rita Lu is a rider, storyteller and adventurer preparing for her biggest journey yet: riding the Silk Road from Switzerland to Central Asia.
